  1. This one was a tear jerker for me. I'm wondering what it must have been like to be in that mans presence. I see so much of people taking our rights and all for granted. It breaks my heart to think that if good people don't start getting involved in this countries business, we might lose it all. Thanks to all of you who are and have served. God Bless all of you. Phil Sisk 1st. Cav. Vietnam 70-71 11b20 Point team
  2. I want to thank you for your service to this great country. I served in Viet Nam 1st Cav. in 70-71 12 Months and 19 days to be exact. 61/2 months on the point team. I can't tell you how much I appreciate what you and all the others have done and are doing for us. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. Phil S.
  3. Saw the movie with the wife a couple of nights ago. Classic Clint...Loved the movie. Supprised at the end, but if you think about it, it made sense. Ya'll take care... Phil S.
  4. I ride my 99venture to work almost every day, or night. Tonight, it was 22 f. when i left for work. It will be in the upper teens when I go home at Midnight. I wear bib overalls and a leather jacket, with a full face helmet. It's funny to see the look on peoples faces when a bike goes by when the weather is this cold. Gotta Love a Venture. If it isn't slick, I'll keep riding. Thanks for the fun, and Info opn this site. Phil S.
  5. It's Dec 5th. Left for work on my 99 venture, it was 22deg f. The coldest i've ridden is 13 deg. I wear insulated bibs, and a leater jacket, and full face helmet. If it's not slick, I ride. There is just something about a Venture. Gotta love it. Sure do get a lot of strange looks when you go by people when the temps are in the teens. This site is a lot of fun, and good info. Thanks, Phil S.
  6. Hi, Allan. Just wanted to let you know how much the pictures of you and your wife touched my heart. My husband and I just started riding again after 30 years. We rode when we were much younger and then the children started coming along. They are all grown now, so we have taken it up again. I hope we have half as much fun together on our bike that you and your wife seem to have had on yours. I am very sorry for your loss. Ride safe. Rita S.
