  1. Hey Jack , youre looking good! Sevenofnine is looking great too. It looks like Google Earth has posted your pic but blotted out that there purty face of yours... Brian
  2. I have my drift mounted on my left highway peg. To give you some idea what it looks like there is some vids on Youtube posted here. some were from my 85 G1 Venture and the last 2 years with the RSV. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=friesman1
  3. I like the rain bibs, keeps the wetness at bay a bit more than the just the pants and jacket does, but, it does seem to take up quite a bit more room in the side bag. Brian
  4. I have the c2 130 but don't tow.... Brian
  5. Way to go, its great that youre making all the right positive changes in your life! Brian
  6. I was kinda bored with the old pancake style tails on my RSV. A couple of years ago at PIP I spotted Bubbers RSV with some nice beehive signal lights on his and liked them a lot. A while ago I saw a stratoliner and with its retro signal lights it got me thinking of looking for an upgrade from mine again. I found a good selection of signal lights at a reasonable price with free shipping at Motor City Cycle in Michigan. I found out our signal lights are the 83mm size and even though they advertise that the chrome finish units will allow enough light through to work properly, my experience is they don't. But I am very satidfied with the Amber bullet signal lights, and they just bolt up,...except that you have to flip the chrome trim ring around the OEM light inside out to work. AND for us Canadians he ships to Canada free.....the fellow is very easy to deal with and called me about the details about the fit as he primarily sold to HD riders. Prices are also much cheaper than buying from the major retailers like JM if you factor shipping costs in. http://www.motorcitycycle.com/order.html Brian
  7. I want one! and I have a bunch of back pay coming in about a week or so.....hmmmmm Brian
  8. the 130 is WWAAAYYY lighter at slow speed handling. but I find I do need to run the back shock at higher air pressure at highway speeds or the front seems a bit too quick to respond. Brian
  9. At times mine felt a bit light in the front at hiways speeds, after installing the 130, but I found putting more air in the back shock solved the issue. and the Michellin Commander 2's are a dual compound tire. fyi. Brian
  10. I have heard that that's not a great idea as the front and rear tires have different purposes , steering requires different tread patterns to grip while turning while a rear tire is designed primarily to push you forward and has strength engineered to do that well. I just went to the narrower 130 Commander2 and like it a lot. brian
  11. so glad that youre going to be Ok, Kerry. but it sucks that youre gonna be hurting and that your bike is scuffed. ill bet theres a lot of us around here on Warfarin so I wouldn't worry about that,...Ive been on it for years. Brian
  12. I will be watching this with interest as I have had AFib for years but its gradually getting worse and the doc indicated I may have to look at the same solution youre looking at. I am sure that its a good solution, but its one of those things that you want to know every angle before going forward. Wishing you all the best on this! Brian
  13. that is one sweet looking trike!
  14. I feel your pain, pretty much the same situation here in Canada, a couple of years ago the CDN buck was more than the US buck but its back to 15 to 20% less than the America greenback again. Brian
  15. yeah, my 85 was a limited edition too,.... it was limited to production between Jan1 1985 and Dec 31 1985 Brian
  16. Its all we serve here Regina, is the Chicago style inch thick Pizza Casserole (as Philip calls it) ,....and its sssooooo good! None of that thin stuff around here... Brian
  17. I asked him about that when we talked last about 2 weeks ago, but he is living a lot farther west on Vancouver Island now and isn't sure he can swing that with the extra travel time. But I told him if he came we would reserve the spot by the rooster for him.(right next to Bubber) Brian
  18. hmmmm........ LE was that for Lame Edition? :) Brian
  19. thanks for the pics, those look good. Looks like I may have to do a payday purchase.. Are those adhesive attached or hooked into the fairing somehow? Brian
  20. have a look at this in case you ever get mercury sucked into your engine accidentally.
  21. I bought one of these visors for my Garmin 765t and I am finding it helps a lot, they have visors that fit almost every gps, maybe they have something that would work for your camera. I like these as they are not rigid but a semi-soft foldable visor. http://www.glarestomper.com/ Brian
  22. thanks for the help with this one everyone, Ive always found the OEM whips too tall and a pain to fold down when covering up the bike. Theses 13 inch antennas are the perfect height not to interfere with the bike cover as the trunks rack is taller. The antennas are available at http://www.antennax.com/p-4729-2-eurostyle-13-inch-antenna-masts-harley-davidson.aspx and the stud adapter is here, https://www.belmetric.com/s6x8x31-metric-step-stud-p-1398.html?zenid=jtkaon09lq54mm225d6humulv2&cPath=9_73 Brian
  23. Hi Would you happen to have a close picture of them in daylight maybe with and without the lights on? Brian
  24. My bikes always feel smoother when I am using RideOn. Brian
  25. 2003 RSV took it out today and the odo showed 76,121 kms (47299.4miles for those of you living south of the 49th parallel.) Brian
