Let me ask you 2 questions......1) have you ever stopped more than 3 times for ice cream during an afternoon ride ? 2) Have you ever heard the squeeling of 10 sets of motorcycle brakes behind you because you decided to stop for an ice cream and forgot your the lead bike in a group ?....................................PS.... THE WESTERN NEW YORK GANG HAS WITNESSED BOTH OF THESE EVENTS.......

Thats the cost of riding. There is always something the bike needs..Better be safe than sorry....A front tire is much cheaper than a blowout while riding...I put on a new rear every year along with rear brakes....you gotta do what you gotta do to be safe....
