  1. Got a locksmith here, that all he needs to do is to see the key, and pronto he cuts another. When asked if he can open a car with the keys locked inside, his first question is: can I see the key? if he can it's half the cost. Service comes with 2 keys and a key holder.
  2. White will fit with anything,,, I just asked my wife and she said so. I have done the beads, real sheepskin, sheepskin over beads but the best yet for me is an adjustable Air-Hawk cushion,,, really nice!!!
  3. Sure,,, here we go again,,, I get the 'credit' and I don't need the money. Actually,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Ben started it,,, Ben begged for me to get my scooter back together so we could go for a ride on Saturday (Yesterday). He then shows up and instantly needs to fix his road runner, some problem with the CB if I remember correctly,,, then, when we is ready to ride and he is all fueled up, he has lost direction and flatly refuses to lead,,,, soooo,,, I'm not about to sit at the gas station all afternoon, so I leave and then he starts to follow,,, real Ben-like. It's around noon so I stop in at the first Timmies I see and we have something to eat, after which he notices a growing puddle under my scoot. Turns out it's fuel related, so we have to head back home. I was on my way too see Ground Hugger, but Ben would hear none of it, said something about danger,,,,, now what could be dangerous about Ground Hugger, other that the fact he might sit on me,,,,, but Ben was so worried, we headed home,,,'course when we got there all was well. So we headed in the other direction, because Ben felt evil omens going south,, so north we went to find an Ice-Cream stop. Now BEN thought that maybe we was going to visit Hal & Gayle, but just because they live north of us doesn't mean when you go north that that's where I was going,,, with Ben following,,,,,,, we turn off and now head west,,,, now he thinks we are going to spend time with BradT, but I'm smarter than that,,, they have shovels, dirt and a flower bed,,, not going there, no sir,,,,, but we do stop in at SleepyIIs to see if they are home,, I just knew there would be no yard work, fixing scoots or anything else laborious but maybe we'd get some ice cream and I wouldn't have to pay for it. They were home, but they must have been fresh out, for even though I hinted a couple of times, even very broadly, and I even let Ben hug Bev,, no showing of that cool stuff, so we carried on to Bartlays and enjoyed the first ICE-CREAM outing this year. During our foray in Woodstock we did a u-turn but we avoided gravel. I was not aware that Ben soo badly wanted to ride gravel or I would have thrown that into the mix as well,, maybe we'll do a barn-yard next time.
  4. Go for it Annie, with sooo many behind you, you have a lot of experience,, use it wisely. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, and wish you many more good ones.
  5. Poor performance, missing, poor mileage............
  6. It goes from 1 to 4 and then back again, doesn't go from 4 to 1,,, sooo, 1,2,3,4 and then 4,3,2,1. Does that help?
  7. I'll be right over in the morning,, if you don't see me right away don't fret, just get started and I'll be along,,, long,,, long,,,,,, time!
  8. On the first gens, you can do them dry. With the bowl covers off, turn the carb upside down, look at the floats and you'll notice a curve cut-out on the top (now on the bottom) of the float. This should nicely coincide with the round casting circle on the main jet block. bend the tab to adjust either way. If you would like to check this, hook all 4 carbs together as if they were on the bike, square and straight. Run clear hose from the drain ports with enough length to come to the outside and above the carbs. Hopefully at this point you have a Mighty Vac that will also pump pressure. You will now need an airtight bottle with 2 holes in the lid. Through the one hole run a hose you need to attach to the input of the carb, and the other end to the bottom of the bottle. The other hole is for the hose coming from your pressure source. You need to seal both hoses to the lid of the bottle. Now fill the bottle with gasoline and pressurize the input hose which will fill the carbs with gasoline. Once the bowls are full the flow will stop and pressure should be maintained at the source. You don't need much pressure, as these systems run with about 2 lbs pressure. With the hose ends held above the carb you can now open the drain screws and the fuel will rise to the same level as what is in the carbs. Once the flow has stopped, apply a bit more pressure to the bottle to finish and see the test results. Hope this is clearer than mud.
  9. You could just buy a slew of batteries, and then when one goes dead, mount the next one,,, you'd probably get a good price as well, maybe like wholesale, so you could help the rest of us out when we need one,,,,,, and then you would have a continued use for your trailer. I really don't know where they put those wires, but if you look in the lower faring on the right hand side, just behind the water bottle, you might come up lucky.
  10. Good of you to hang out with us,,, we do need some guidance every now and then.
  11. You should have said something earlier,, I had a set of used ones you could have had for cheap!
  12. So you do have some sense after all,,, they just may be hard to find seems like.
  13. I wouldn't, but I'll not explain why or it will get political.
  14. I send my hound to go get it.
  15. Nah, couldn't hurt Bobby,,, you know, no sense.............. darn what was the rest of that, I lost it now.
  16. I'm not taking any chances, thanks for the warning!
  17. Nope,,, couldn't have been,,,,, 'course then they were on a farm tour:think:
  18. Ya, your boss would soon be broke, and you'd be looking for a new job.
  19. Kind of helps put things in perspective I'd say. Spent enough time working already,,, and in the bathroom with those related activities,,, but I figured that there wasn't near enough time in bed, so I'd better catch up a little there before things get out off balance,,, and then I might want to ride some more,,, ya, there were some of those beans left:happy65:
  20. Must have been VentureRiders,,, I've seen them do the same thing,,,, hey they waited for her!!!
  21. You just can't sneak on a Wing,,,, you should know that!! So welcome back, and I would kind of miss you, if you up and left us. Just remember that this is a civil site,, and most of us are at least somewhat civil.
  22. Hey Gary,, unless I'm grossly mistaken, and that has happened before, there is a spacer inside the wheel, same size as the inner race of the bearing, and it needs to move over a bit to get at the center of the bearing, so a puller won't work,, and if I still have it correctly, there is a collar on that end of the spacer that doesn't allow the spacer to move over at that end, so the needle bearing is the first one to come out.?.?
  23. Air mixture screws need adjusting, cleaning.
  24. Yammer Dan!
  25. Wheel turns, that' normal ,and show that's it hooked to the engine. No clutch and clear fluid, could be related. Possibly brake fluid leaked out of the clutch, can be fixed easily enough, but a little time consuming.
