  1. Bob I hope everything goes well at the doc. I have one on the 21.
  2. A friend of mine abd I are going up to Johnstown on the 23rd. Hope to get a demo ride.
  3. Puc great vid as usual, laughed so hard I had tears Rowling down my face. I see that you had on the shirt I sent you . Good representation.
  4. Puc I know a few people that have the raider and was going to buy one my self. They have one complaint with them. You can't keep a rear tire on them.
  5. Dan I don't think it was a laughing matter. I rebuilt the shocks and when I got done and everything adjusted I went for a ride, went into a hard left turn and my handlebars lifted and then I remembered that I forgot to tighten the riser bolts. Not a fun thing to forget.
  6. I had an OOPS the other day and when I found it, it was too scary to talk about it. :buttkick:
  7. Look at the bottom of the saddlebags. I would think that the black pieces that are there are to protect the bags in a tip over, nothing is going to protect the bike in a crash.
  8. I just went in to my local Yamaha dealer to pick up a few parts that were on order. While there I ask when they would be getting in the new bike and was told mid Sept. or early Oct. and if they would have one for test rides and was put on their list for a demo ride. I will decide on buying one after the demo and it will be a long ride when I do it.
  9. Well after thinking about this new bike for a while I will see what they are when I see one up close. Every thing I have owned up to the RSV has been air cooled and I do not think that there are very many on this forum that has never owned one. I am not too good with all the tech stuff so that will be new also. I will get one out and ride it before I totally say no to buying one.
  10. I am not sure why they have heated seats. They should get plenty heat from the motor. Didn't the Victory and Indian come with a 113 CU In air cooled and they have heat problems.
  11. Now I am really feeling old and forgetful. Looked at the sign up sheet and I am already signed up.
  12. ???? Where do you sign up???? I haven't found it yet. :confused24:
  13. Bob I am glad that Becky is only bruised and not worse. The car and truck look like they are toast. Hope she is not too sore this morning.
  14. I still have my Sabre in the shed, can't reach the ground anymore so the oldest son took it over.
  15. It wont be a Yamaha if it don't have a cassette deck.

    rear tire

I run the Dunlop E III great grip, dry or rain and get about 20,000 miles.
  18. I pulled the front forks off and replaced the springs and added 15wt oil. While I have it apart I will repack the steering head bearings. Should have it back together by Friday.
  19. Look at the pics again and you will notice that the rear brakes are on opposite sides when you flip from right to left pic. There is one pipe from the front and one from the back jugs. If it is a V4 then they have a header hid in there on both jugs.
  20. Dog on it Rick I go to the drag strip for a few days of bike races and come home to read this and see those pics. Glad you are not hurt too much. Take the time to heal, your bike can be replaced but friends can't.
  21. Orlin sorry you got your feet wet but it is better than waking up floating down stream.
  22. Skid if you do loose that bolt the extra bolts in the side covers are the same for the shifter. Don't ask how I know.
  23. Now Puc is that name Scott Balding or Balding Scott?
  24. It does sound like the bolt came loose on the shifter. The head is leaking? You didn't say what water or oil?
