  7. Heres the deal, 8hp Areins its probably 20 yrs old at least, always starts and runs great until today. Started rite up, on idle it would surge, pop and run like crap, but as soon as it was in the snow and under load it ran fine. Back it out of the snow and no load sputtering all over the place. Any ideas? I got the driveway done, but its gonna need some work before the next storm. 8hp 36" cut 2 stage Ariens anybody ever worked on one of these?? Thanks, Craig

  10. I have the Corbin seat, it came with the cut-out for the backrest. There is a small flap of material that seals the cut-out with velcro when the back rest isnt used. There is a pc of hollow square stock that accepts the back rest post, make sure the seat has that or it wont support the back rest. Craig

  20. Yea unfortunately we have a Winter season, and they love to coat the roads with gravel and salt, takes the fun out of riding for me. Would be awesome to live where I could ride year round, maybe someday...
  21. Put Stabilizer in tank, went for a 50mile ride, topped off the gas tank added a bit more stabilizer and tucked her away for the winter:bawling: Craig
