Arizona, I have a unit that will plug in but the venture does not read it. It would just take changing the pins on the connection at the unit. I was going to see about doing it but I came across the isimple unit for a good price.

Vz, Do you have both mounted in one helmet? I'm toying with the idea of converting the venture to Bluetooth. But if you have both that would be cheaper and faster

Dana, The first question is how is it mounted in the truck? If it is built in then you may have to get another subscription for the bike. Years ago they had a family plan where you could have multiple radios. It didn't add much to the cost.

Bob, The group i ride with is mostly ventures and a few roadstars all have cb systems. So that is a major for me. I'm looking at options right now but i like the idea of bluetooth and being able to use all of the bikes features.

Bob, I would like to know about your BT plug as my wife keeps forgetting to unplug her helmet and then complains when one of the speakers stops working.

I order a yatour mp3 changer for a Kia optmia because it uses the 13 pin connector. However after connecting everything the radio did not even see that the tape deck was connected. If i could find the pin out for the optmia i could make a cable to work. I also have an isimple. I connected it and it does work. however there is no way to change playlist (that i have found yet) also no way to tell what song you are on. The display always reads 1-1. I am installing mine in the trunk. Found out on a trip this weekend if you only have one song selected that is all it will play. Very minimal control with this. I need to make a few playlist and see what i can do.

Dennis, Can you take a look at how the pump mounts. I was looking at converting mine to the air over but they don't sell it anymore. It looks like you can get a replacement from redlinestands.com

I have one and it lifts my 2nd gen venture for now. I did replace the wheel chock with a condor to keep from needing a 2nd person to load.

I will have to ask the current owner. Its not mine.

There may be one for sale in the near future. I know of someone that has one but just purchased a chrome royal star venture cover. What is it worth to you?

Well i dropped the tire last night. There are a couple of spots where the tire could have made contact to get this kind of damage but to do so it would have to hit other areas and i don't see any indication of tire contacting the fender. I have a new tire on the way and will replace it just for peace of mind. Thanks for the help and hope to see everyone on the road soon.

not all the way around but almost. When i checked the pressure it was at 40psi. The bike is lowered but the damage is at the same locations on most of the tread.

What would cause this and should i replace. I just purchased the bike and the PO said the tires had 700 miles on them.

I would be interested in one of these as well. I do have an iPhone 4s that I would load music onto for long trips.
