  1. KO4AFL here i'm looking at adding a 2m antenna for the anytone 878 ht connected to my sena 20s. I may update it to something else.
  2. Still available. Make an offer. This guy is the second owner and only put ~200 miles on it before he realized he can't ride due to back problems
  3. FOR SALE. 2005 YAMAHA VENTURE TRIKE 51,796 MILES TRAILER, HELMETS, RAIN GEAR, TRAVEL & COOLER ALL INCLUDED. HANNIGAN CONVERSION. $15,000.00 OR BRO.
  4. I'm thinking they would be isolated via separate ptt just using the same headset and mic. I would be able to monitor two radios but only transmit on one at a time depending on what ptt I used. I may be incorrect but figured I'd ask
  5. hey guys, I'm thinking about adding another two way radio to the bike. I was wondering if anyone had made up a cable to go from the headset plug to a kenwood style 2 pin for a two way radio. i think i have an idea on the connection if i were to create a din to din cable then y it off to the kenwood plug with the ptt i should be able to choose what radio i transmit on based on what ptt i use right?
  6. yeah sorry i forgot to update the profile. The 09 VStar was sold about 3 years ago.
  7. Steven, Thanks but i dont' have the 09 1300 anymore i sold that to a buddy. This is happening on my 07 midnight venture.
  8. Ok guys and gals, I'm running down a rabbit hole. I just rode 410 miles yesterday and on the way home i found the bike would seem to stumble in 5th gear 75 -80 mph. Almost like it couldn't decide what carb circuit to use. Had plenty of power. I'm wondering if i should rejet the carbs. My current setup is K&N filters in stock airboxes, Reinhart mufflers with the baffles, carbs are stock as far as i know. I did balance them this year. I'm also thinking of using the same size jets in every carb. Has anyone tried this? I would like to keep the fuel economy but i didn't like the feeling of it acting like it was stumbling. I'm hoping i'm not having a fuel pump issue starting. I have recently changed the fuel filter but i have done 3k+ miles since the change and didn't notice it on that trip 2up with a trailer. Yesterday i was solo with 3 friends.
  9. Bluesky, I saw that thread but i know the bleedback is working. as i can see the fluid come into the cylinder with the cover off. It seems like the clutch is not releasing completely so if you throttle up with the clutch in the bike can/will go forward even up the incline of my driveway.
  10. Working on a 99 RSV with 52k on the clock. We had an event and after the event the clutch wouldn't fully disengage. I took the bike to the house and noticed the fluid was old and getting dark. I flushed the system with new clean fluid until i was only getting clean fluid from the bleeder. Still the clutch won't fully disengage. If you have the bike running and put it in gear with the clutch in you can feel it trying to pull. Is it time for a new clutch? Or maybe just the barnett pressure plate?
  11. I'm using the 20s. I love it. Got mine just before the 30k was announced.
  12. Your other option is to use sena part SC-A0116 and wire it to a 5pin din plug
  13. Yes the freewire acts as if I was wired to the bike with a headset.
  14. I'm using the Sena freewire for the goldwing on the venture for me and the sm10 for the wife. She can hear everything but not transmit on the CB. It might be easier to sell the SR10 and get the freewire.
  15. Might reach out to hanagan as they pull the bags when they trike bikes. I don't know if they keep them.
  16. Yes if the kick stand is down it will not start. it will turn over just no spark.
  17. I can ride mine just have to be on it when i start it. can't let it warm up on the kickstand.
  18. ok i'm going to jump in with a question. My bike will not start with the kick stand down. If i pull in the clutch it starts no problem. kick stand up it starts as long as the clutch is in or in neutral. Is this the diode as well? if so where is it located?
  19. Only if you have a passenger. The system is as follows. Freewire for the Rider. SM10 for the passenger. SMH10 or SMH20 headsets for both.
  20. If others were using bluetooth on their phones then yes that would work. Most of the chapter has cb radios already so im not asking them to change equipment. Im trying this for me.
  21. That is where the freewire comes in. It is a two way bluetooth transmitter/receiver. You might be able to do the same with the sr10 and the open end cable.
  22. Received word back from J&M the dongle has been discontinued. But did some more testing at cyclegear. The freewire will only send to one headset. The 20S headsets will only share the music connection from a phone (has something to do with the propriety bluetooth profile) The SM10 will share music to both 20S headsets but does not allow for CB transmission. So the connection needed for all to work is 20S headsets for rider and passenger, freewire for rider, and SM10 for passenger if they don't need to transmit on the CB. You will need the 3.5mm to 5pin cable for the SM10 as well. Headsets (20S, 10U, 10C, 10R, 10S, or Cavalry) FreeWire for Rider SM10 for the Passenger kenable 5 Pin Din Plug To 3.5mm Jack Stereo Plug Audio Cable 0.5m (~1.5 feet) 50cm" from Amazon My reasoning for the SM10 over the SR10 is the SM keeps the stereo audio. The SR allows connections to two way FRS or handheld CB style radios with an adapter cord. DJH3 the freewire will not dual stream. The SM10 will but will not allow me to transmit over the CB. I still use the CB on chapter rides. Mostly for ride captain to tail gunner.
  23. Thanks i'm getting ready to order some of those. I will go with the amazon cable instead.
  24. Just found this over on the harley forum. the FreeWire does not have dual streaming capability so you can't have 2 headsets listening to the same audio through the FreeWire. The 20S does have the Music Sharing feature but you can only share the music from a device such as a smartphone and not from the FreeWire. So that answers my question. I would need two of the freewires to share the audio from the bike. This is a bummer as i don't want to spend $1000 just to go wireless. If anyone has other ideas i'm open to them. I want to be able to go bluetooth in my helmet and still use the CB.
