  2. I second the quality of brakecrafters.com... excellent customer service, high quality kits. They know exactly what you need and are worth the money. I've rebuilt all my calipers with their kits and they're operating perfectly. Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk

He can get me the front tire but not the rear. It seems that the inventory of rear tires for MK1 are all gone. I may give Shinko's a try. Anyone know a reason why I shouldn't? Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk

I ordered a set of E4 to replace mine on the bike now and I got a call Thursday that they have the front but can't find any stock of the rear. I really like the E4's and the bike had a new set of E3's when I bought it. What are people using to replace the E4's? Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk
  5. FYI... I've used https://www.brakecrafters.com/ for rebuild kits for the calipers. They're high quality seals, fairly priced and include seals for in between the caliper halves. Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk
  6. Left is old, right is new. This, combined with my progressive springs will make it feel like new I'm sure! Cheers! Suds Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk
  7. Mine was bad from the start. Royal Distributing took it back under warranty (I didn't even get to ride more than a couple of km)... but they said if I took the replacement I wouldn't have warranty on the replacement. Based on the risk of getting another bad once, I took store credit and bought elsewhere. Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk

I hear your voice in my head when I'm reading your posts because I notice you do type like you talk. I think it's great! Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk
  9. The depth of experience and knowledge here is unmatched and $12/ year is nothing to get access to all that. The first time you have a question you'll be thankful you joined. Lots of great people who are very welcoming is the icing on the cake. Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk

How about GP Bikes? I can still get my size (I have a 90 VR) but they did tell me they're discontinued. Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk

  18. Nice looking ride! I hope you get to rack up a bit of mileage on it. Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk

  20. I use the "grab and stand up" method. This video illustrates it pretty well. It's only about 5 minutes long but you can watch 3:00-4:40 and you'll get the main demonstration. The only time I struggled was when my rear shock was broken and wouldn't hold air. I could still do it, but it took considerable effort compared to after I replaced the broken shock. In a nut shell... - wheel straight - grab the left handlebar firmly - grab the rear passenger grab bar firmly - push the centre stand down to contact the ground and carefully push the bike up until both pads of the stand are in contact with the ground (you'll feel it) - transfer your weight into the centre stand and "stand up" with your right leg while pulling up on the rear passenger grab bar I hope that helps! 21. Those plates hold the coolant plugs in place as well and there should be a screw in the middle of the plate to fasten it in place. Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk
  22. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] so true, no matter what the forum is and what the vehicle is, oil discussion always bring out the flame throwers! [emoji91] Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk
  23. Many others have done a better job than me, but here's what I did. I just picked up a block from Amazon like @saddlebum mentioned. Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk
  24. Here they are. You can use a spark plug to pull them out if they are stuck. (Or find a screw with the same thread pitch) Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk
  25. Behind those rectangle plates you describe are plugs that can leak coolant. They go bad with age and heat cycles. You can still get replacements at the dealer. I'll see if I can find the part number, you'll need 4. Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk
