Well I'd have no problem bringing and packing a 3x4 Canadian flag on my bike but not sure where I would put a 4 foot pole? On my bike And I'm not going to ask where I should.....cause I know where you'd tell me to put it! Thank You very much BigTom.

Wow! I think just the opposite.....I'm a guy that owned nothing but Honda's until I bought my 2005 Venture and then bought another 2013 Venture.....Yamaha has no right to sell that thing as a Venture! "MPO" V-twin, belt drive, air cooled HD want'a,bee not a Venture! "Dishonest in still using the Venture name plate!"......Yamaha to sell that Strato-tourer as a Venture! "is a joke, and disingenuous, to a full throttle Venture fanboy!" At least Honda stuck with an 1800 shaft dive fully loaded touring package along the same lines as the Gold Wings past and going back toward the original smaller lighter sportier 1200 - 1500 Wings before they became so big and some might say just a little to heavy. Puc's right, I think most of us Venture riders feel really let down by MotherYamaha......nice bike......some might just love it....but call it what it is....a Strato-tourer! P.S. I think it's cool how this photo seems to come up and get posted by someone on this site every once in awhile! It has been floating around on the Internet for years. It was taken at Friday the 13th Port Dover Ontario Canada, several years ago. Yamaha 1st Gen and the tunnel/seat section of a snowmobile where used to build it.

Darn.....leave on this year's "Purple Helmet's" bucket list trip III on June 1st, so won't be able to make MD. Guess I'll just have to plan on making MarCarl's meet an eat, as my Spring Venturerider event. This is this year's bucket list plan so far.......heading for New Orleans.

Your right about the new 2018 Wing being about the same size as the ST1300. Honda replaced the ST with the CTX1300 in 2014 and it was a one year bike. Seemed kind of weird Honda would put out all the money effort to produce a bike, for just a one year production run. Maybe the CTX was just too close a model to what was coming down the pipe with the new plans for the New Wing. They sure look alike!

........ I don't even think a homeless person would try to take over this spot!
