labill Posted August 8, 2025 Posted August 8, 2025 Looking to replace my Walmart battery. I have been reviewing all brands. They of course can be confusing to a non tech guy. So I again come to the experts. What brand/type of battery would you guys recommend? Thanks, Labill
RDawson Posted August 8, 2025 Posted August 8, 2025 I use only AGM batteries, lead acid usually lasted 1-1/2 years. I get around 5 years now. I usually use Interstate or the premium Super Start from Oreilly. 1
Woody Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 I've been using O'Reilly for years I had one go bad on me while in Florida one time and the local O'Reilly's made it good.
Marcarl Posted August 10, 2025 Posted August 10, 2025 I've been impressed with Deka, but the Deka label is often under the sellers label.
labill Posted August 27, 2025 Author Posted August 27, 2025 Thanks guys. There sure are a lot of brands. the real problem is finding out who makes them. I decided to go with Walmart. If I have a problem win the road a Walmart is just around the corner Thanks again, labile
guns_usn_20 Posted August 29, 2025 Posted August 29, 2025 I go to Batteries+ Bulbs. I have a 5yr AGM I'm my 07 RSTD. If it fails all I have to do is take it back and get a new one. They go by your phone number to find your receipt.
saddlebum Posted September 7, 2025 Posted September 7, 2025 I have a Deka AGM on my bike which I purchased for $94.00 Mar 8 2013 and it is still going strong 12 years later.
