Pasta Burner Posted December 24, 2021 Share #1 Posted December 24, 2021 (edited) I’m off work until Jan 10, was hoping to get some riding in, but it looks like I’m going to have to wait it out to be safe. I’m new to cold weather riding and excited to test out some new gear. Edited December 24, 2021 by Pasta Burner

Pasta Burner Posted December 26, 2021 Author Share #3 Posted December 26, 2021 Well it ended up being 55 and sunny today, but still didn’t ride cause we started off the gloomy Christmas morning with opening presents and Irish coffee. Tomorrow is another possibility.

kevin-vic-b.c. Posted December 26, 2021 Share #5 Posted December 26, 2021 felt like -7C this morning and blowing snow... not a lot of snow... just a few inches but makes riding pretty much out for now. I did get out Christmas eve day for a cool just above freezing ride on my Vstrom.
Pasta Burner Posted December 26, 2021 Author Share #6 Posted December 26, 2021 Woke up in the middle of the night to what sounded like ice hitting the windows and skylight. When the sun, errr I mean no sun…daylight arrived the streets were a pretty shade of white. 😪
RDawson Posted December 27, 2021 Share #7 Posted December 27, 2021 Down here in the Midwest the weather is crazy as usual. Had 70s last week and tornadoes. Back in the 70s again now, predicting high 60s Saturday and accumulating snow Sunday.
larrydr Posted December 27, 2021 Share #8 Posted December 27, 2021 Here in Southern Manitoba Canada we are at minus 19 C degrees tonight and we were at minus 21 C degrees this morning ...But we have heard about flood conditions , forest fires , Tornadoes , but now to me the minus 19 C degrees is okay ...We are getting a bit of snow and we have to shovel our driveway now and then ...I would not want to trade what we have for any of the other conditions we have heard about
