KIC Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Okay, this just came up in another thread and I thought I would ask the many smart, and the few not-so-smart members out there. When I changed my plugs for the first time after buying my 89, I found a quarter between the front left spark plug boot and the cylinder head. ( Photos below) Now another member just bought a bike and found a dime between his spark plug boot and front cylinder head. These coins can't just "fall there" , so.... is there reason for this ? Is this a good luck charm or something ?
ragtop69gs Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 It's so you can call home for a trailer when your antique breaks down on the road. :rotfl:

Snaggletooth Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Throw some change on top of the tank cover and watch where it goes. It's like playing Plinko. It's weird where stuff wanders off to on a bikes. I feel cheated, All I've found is nuts, bolts, screws, washers and paperclips.
