Freebird Posted January 19, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 19, 2010 I've found few of these that actually work as advertised. This one sounds promising. If you have a problem with your face shield fogging up, it sounds like this is worth a try and not terribly expensive. http://www.webbikeworld.com/r4/clarity-defog-it/
eagleeye Posted January 19, 2010 Share #2 Posted January 19, 2010 Don, or anyone for that matter, have you tried it? I would be interested in seeing how it would work on the my windshield. Maybe I should be the guinne pig. Steve
dynodon Posted January 19, 2010 Share #3 Posted January 19, 2010 I just ordered it. I will say that the new Shark Evoline helmet I bought this last summer has a near perfect anti-fog shield standard. In cold wet rainy weather, and just cold weather, I have had no vision problems, and only a little mist right near my nose. I want this new coating for my glasses! or my wife's glasses or shield. I hope to give it a try soon. Thanks for posting the story and link!
Motorcycle Mike Posted January 19, 2010 Share #4 Posted January 19, 2010 I've been using Zooke paste for a couple of years. It works fairly well but needs to be applied every few days. I would love to hear of any first hand knowledge of this product.
fortygeek Posted January 19, 2010 Share #5 Posted January 19, 2010 Guys...tried every product on the market to keep the face shield clear with minimal results. Got a Pinlock face shield for my HJC and have not had a problem since. Just my two cents (well, maybe three). Paul

Squeeze Posted January 19, 2010 Share #7 Posted January 19, 2010 Changing to Pinlock is the best Solution,no doubt
Riderduke Posted January 20, 2010 Share #8 Posted January 20, 2010 I just ordered it. I wear glasses and they fog up when going from outside to inside this time of year. Also i'm a contractor and its hard to wear a dust mask with-out foging up the glasses, for that matter I wear a half helmet and in cold weather I can't put my belacalva (sp?) up over my nose or my glasses fog-up so the Pinlock isn't for me. I hope this stuff works better then the paste i've been using. I'll keep you guys posted:happy34:
AmnChode Posted January 20, 2010 Share #9 Posted January 20, 2010 I just ordered it. I will say that the new Shark Evoline helmet I bought this last summer has a near perfect anti-fog shield standard. In cold wet rainy weather, and just cold weather, I have had no vision problems, and only a little mist right near my nose. Kinda funny you say that. My Evoline is just the opposite. I usually have to ride with the shield cracked to prevent it from fogging....might have to look into this, though...

Cougar Posted January 20, 2010 Share #11 Posted January 20, 2010 What is this Pinlock Shield? can it go onto any helmet brand? or is it just for HJC.
