Freebird Posted October 2, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 2, 2009 I'm near Saginaw, MI tonight...actually I've been here all week. Staying in Birch Run. Tonight I drove over to Frankenmuth and had dinner at the Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn. The food was pretty good but I've got to tell you, I left enough food on the table to feed at least one or two more people. Those people just keep on bringing food.....geeezzzz.....enough already. KarlS Posted October 2, 2009 Share #4 Posted October 2, 2009 Eat at Tony's in Birch Run and you will have enough left over for your entire stay.
LilBeaver Posted October 2, 2009 Share #5 Posted October 2, 2009 Haha... Did you order one of their 'family style' dinners by accident? Actually, it has been a while since I've been up there, but I presume they still do that.
Freebird Posted October 2, 2009 Author Share #6 Posted October 2, 2009 They still do the family meals but this was just a regular meal. Still a LOT of food. I've heard about Tony's but haven't been there. Heard they have a good breakfast. Maybe I'll try it on my way home this morning.
Condor Posted October 2, 2009 Share #7 Posted October 2, 2009 Had that happen at a Basque resturant in Bakersfield Ca once long ago. Went in, sat down, and they just started bringing food. No menu. Rolled out of the place....
Yammer Dan Posted October 2, 2009 Share #8 Posted October 2, 2009 Place near here has my favorite food. A BIG greasy burger with everything on it that I can't hardley get rid of. With fries it is too much. And that don't happen often.

BradT Posted October 3, 2009 Share #13 Posted October 3, 2009 I've heard about Tony's but haven't been there. Heard they have a good breakfast. Maybe I'll try it on my way home this morning. You can split the bacon and eggs with someone and still have food left over, at a very reasonable price. Now if you want ice cream that is also huge.
