    Vogel 2025

    Here’s my map 😁
  5. Next Monday or next?
  6. Yea. In 2017 Harley made a big change. The inlet on the left and right mufflers are completely different sizes.
  7. Was just pulling your leg. I heard it might fit the 2nd Gen RSV and there is a great demand for it.

    Vogel 2025

Has someone created a map of where everyone is staying at this year?
  9. Will be home from the cottage late Monday...I think pretty much any day of the week works for me so whatever is best for you.
  10. If you have things to do what day, time is best for you? Could show up with coffee for everyone!
  11. @ReinyRoosterif the reply was for my offer I could probably pick up Thursday or Friday as wife is off work and I don't have to dog sitting! Or would Saturday work? Could see if Don is available, maybe coffee run?
  12. Nope. The 2017 - present won’t fit the RSV. They have changed the size of the inputs.
  13. Nice ride!!
  14. Yesterday
  15. I have a feeling Don will have an almost brand new set of OEM 2025 Road Glide mufflers that might fit the RSV.
  16. Put over 600 miles over the weekend, more than half wearing the helmet, and it gets an A+. Comfortable, reasonably light weight, great visibility and just the right amount of noise reduction. If I had any reservations, it'd be about the chin strap. Comfortable, but takes some getting used to. All in all I have no complaints.
  17. @saddlebum yes it was nice with getting together at Timmies then going for ice cream afterwards! Should have paid more attention to the date as forgot it was long weekend! Also got to ride with 2 other Ventures on the way to Kitchener then I broke off to go to Princes Auto to do some shopping, Over $130 worth!! Looking forward to next one!
  18. Nice bike!
  19. Last week
  20. I had a nearly new set of Vance and Hines Torquer 450's on the Harley I traded. Since the new bike takes the same mufflers, I put the original mufflers back one the 22 before I traded it. Put the V&H's on the '25 this morning. Haven't ridden it yet but it sounds good.. IMG_0335.mov
  21. nice bike! i hope you get to enjoy it for many years to come!
  22. Enjoy it!!! Get some riding time with your son.
  23. Nice Don!
  24. So my 98 RSTD is running great...but...it has a tendency to quit or become very difficult to start once the engine and rad are heated. I have heard from another member with this era of RSTD the location of the ignition can be a problem due to excessive heat from the motor and rad. So my question is can the ignition be relocated and if so, is there anyplace on the forum or elsewhere to get the info. I've looked but so far nada, bupkus, squat, diddly, zero. Thanks in advance.
  25. So the 2022 Road Glide Limited is gone. I had strongly been considering saying goodbye to my riding days for some time now. The Road Glide Limited was a great long range touring manchine but now that I've turned 70, it sure was feeling heavy on these. short rides around home. So it was time to let it go. So my riding days are over. But Nay Nay say I. Today I picked up a slightly lighter bike. It is still HEAVY but feels 300 pounds lighter than the limited due to having no tour pack and them lightening the fairing by about 20 lbs. One test ride was all it took and I was sold. It has three factory ride modes. Sport, Rain, and Highway. Plus another one that you can customize to your liking. The salesman told me that in sport mode, Harley has everything dialed up to about 80%. He created a custom mode for me where he set throttle response and everything to 100% and the performance was amazing. It is really too much unless you really want to play hard. I actually put it back into Sports mode and even highway mode on the way home. So what did I buy? A 2025 Harley Road Glide and I have to say I love this thing. It has the new 117 Cu In motor with 105 HP and 130 lbs of torque. It actually feels even stronger. All the modern goodies. ABS, Traction Control, etc. Apple car play, navigation, etc. 12" digital screen that you can customize to your liking. They upgraded the front and rear suspension and added an additional 3 1/2 " travel to the rear. I am just completely impressed with this bike. I got them, to throw in a passenger backrest and a taller "Klock Werks" windshield. Since taking these pictures, I added a riders backrest and the nearly new highway pegs that I took off the '22. I also took the nearly new Vance and Hines mufflers off the '22 and put the stock mufflers on it. The Vance and Hines are the same for this bike also. It is surprisingly loud as is but I''ll probably swap them tomorrow to see how they sound on this bike. I think they had a deeper tone. I went back and forth on the color but ended up buying Iron Horse Metallic.
  26. Would $40 for the carb tuner be reasonable?
  27. Small as it was, It was great to meet up with those who did attend. It may not be as big a gathering as it once was but its nice that some friendships made in previous years still remain today. Thanks Phyill but making the effort to bring us together.
  28. Thank you, I did notice late last night oil getting into that section after cranking the motor enough. That cover is now back on. Now I just need help identifying the coil for ledt and right on the front cylinders
