    Steering is power assisted but it still takes more input than a Venture, normally wouldn't be an issue but if your arms or shoulders have a weakening effect the difference will be noticed.

    My wife had one for about 3 years and there was nothing wrong with it. Never any issues. she stopped riding out of fear (and weak shoulders). She had a close call on a ride that scared her pretty bad. The spyders do take a lot more shoulder input than a bike or trike.

    fyi, if you want to put flanders handle bars on your bike, order the flanders, part number 650-08763. got mine today and they are the same as the 650-08761's. i'm happyall i have to change is the handle bars. rest of the stuff is ok. but then there's the front fairing. got half of those parts ordered.

    I managed to break the screw in part half way up the cb antenna. I can find new antenna's for almost $300, but don't need that. I would be happy with a used part. I do use my cb a bit when riding in groups, so would like to get it working again. Anyone have one or know of one somewhere?

    i found new flanders bars but the part number was2 didgets off from the flander bar number we need for our bikes, ordered it to see if it will work. can always send them back if they aren't go'n to work.

    Sorry for not responding this past week, its been kinda crazy for me. I plan to get back to the bike tomorrow, and see if I can get this thing lined up. I am trying to get it into neutral so I can roll it in and out of the garage without disconnecting the final drive.

    @zzyzx aka Ed Williams sells the standard adapter for I think $135. I make an adapter with bolt on legs $180 shipping included in the 48 states.

    I checked eBay and found several sets of Venture handlebars. I used 2 inch Riser extensions to get mine to set back farther. That may be an option for you if you can find a set of Flanders.

    Buna N size 218 O ring I ordered a pack of like 50 for about $10 from WalMart. Should be available from Amazon/eBay.
