Thank you, Ronnie. We aren't Coming down until Wednesday so I'm pretty sure it will be here. If it doesn't, I'll get a short bolt that size, put a rubber seal on it and run it with that until the plastic one comes in. Can't leave a steel bolt in the radiator very long. It may not come out again.

Good Thursday morning to all. Got caught on a downpour yesterday, but it was all good. Took it easy to reach my destination. Surprisingly, only my lower leg area got wet and the rest of my body remained dry. SVTC will get a nice shower this afternoon and a good wipe down. Ride safe.

Phil make sure the battery is good and connections clean and tight. I had a low voltage symptom for several months 12.9-13v, battery and stator tested good so I replaced the regulator with no change. Replaced the battery due to age and it jumped to 14 volts.

Here is a thread written by our dear old friend bongobob. Very good information.

Tested across battery terminals today with battery at 12.85volt and engine reved, tester said 12.88volt. Riding around my volt gage was showing 12.3v. 11.9v with highbeam on. Acording to repair manual, symptoms say probably Voltage regulator. Anyway to test? Book says you have to try good one in place. Have spare battery incase right now!

Steve if you have trouble getting it in time let me know. I have a radiator off a bike I junked. I just checked and it came out easily.

Hello Venture Crew. I rode the Venture last week and noticed some coolant dripping on the ground after riding for an hour. (Really thought I had a leaking radiator hose.) I finally got around to checking for the problem yesterday and found the leak was coming from the radiator drain plug. I put a wrench on it to tighten it, and the head of the plastic plug broke off. Thankfully I had a left-hand drill bit and was able to spin the threaded part out without any problems. A new one has been ordered, and I will be able to ride it to Vogel next week.

Based on my age trajectory and the desire to keep on riding, a trike or a CanAm is not off the table. For me, I also had the urge to pull the trigger...but I am also not ready yet. If one would own a CanAm, it is wise to also have a motorcycle to ride. Just saying...

That's a Joe thing and I haven't seen one, Trina hid my crayons or I would try 😀

N3FOL started following Looking to buy a new helmet

I can't comment so much on modular helmets, because I've never owned one. As for Helmet brands with the perfect fit, Arai has always been my only helmet of choice. As mentioned before, try the helmet and then make your best decision based on fit and comfort.

Heading home later today.

Next Monday or next?
-
Yea. In 2017 Harley made a big change. The inlet on the left and right mufflers are completely different sizes.
-
Was just pulling your leg. I heard it might fit the 2nd Gen RSV and there is a great demand for it.
-
Has someone created a map of where everyone is staying at this year?
-
Will be home from the cottage late Monday...I think pretty much any day of the week works for me so whatever is best for you.
-
If you have things to do what day, time is best for you? Could show up with coffee for everyone!
-
@ReinyRoosterif the reply was for my offer I could probably pick up Thursday or Friday as wife is off work and I don't have to dog sitting! Or would Saturday work? Could see if Don is available, maybe coffee run?
-
Works for me.
-
Nope. The 2017 - present won’t fit the RSV. They have changed the size of the inputs.
-
I have a feeling Don will have an almost brand new set of OEM 2025 Road Glide mufflers that might fit the RSV.
