Flyinfool Posted July 17, 2011 Share #1 Posted July 17, 2011 Is it possible to have the search feature recognize at least some common TLAs (Three Letter Acronyms). It is real hard to find info on things like HID, CMU, TCI, RLU etc.
Freebird Posted July 17, 2011 Share #2 Posted July 17, 2011 I wish I could get everybody to use the Google search under search. If you click on search, at the very bottom is "GOOGLE SEARCH". Check the box that says venturerider.org and enter your search term. It works GREAT with 3 letters or whatever.

etcswjoe Posted July 17, 2011 Share #4 Posted July 17, 2011 (edited) There are several sites that list acronyms. Here is one of them. http://d-tips.com/Tools/toolBox/acronyms.aspx Instead of a search maybe a page in the tech library for acronyms? etcswjoe Posted July 17, 2011 Share #5 Posted July 17, 2011 I think I may have misunderstood what he was asking for. You want to search for three letters. Like Freebird said you can use Google ie hid site:venturerider.org CMU site:venturerider.org TCI site:venturerider.org RLU site:venturerider.org Doing this will bring up every instance of the term under the site and you can do this for other sites as well.
