Don't know how many college football fans we have out there, but I'm looking for some opinions on the guy that my home states team hired yesterday. Arkansas sneaked into Wisconsin and grabbed Bret Bielema yesterday, and everyone here is in a total stunned coma about it. The airwaves are filled with mixed responses from people thinking it was a good hire, to folks highly upset. So, can anyone give me an honest read on what we have comin at us?

The wife and I just got back from seeing "The Blind Side' movie. WOW! What a terrific movie. It has Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw and a football theme, but it is a story of life and success - not sports. :thumbsup2:

Has anyone heard of a weight restriction on a 87VR. My son is still playing football (O Line) and keeps getting bigger. Together we are at 540 LBS. What can the bike handle. I am very strong and can handle the weight of the bike with the added passenger weight. I am just concerned about the bike and frame and coming apart at a bad time! What do ya'll think. I know, loose weight big guy but I still eat like I did when I played football. Oh the battle of the bulge. -
So, I am 27, 6' tall and 350lbs depending on whether I am weighed before or after a meal. I played defensive/offensive line since the fourth grade. By the time I graduate high school I was 6' 220lbs. I didn't figure I was big enough to play at the University of Michigan, so I went to GMI and studied engineering instead. I didn't realize I was going to gain 125lbs my freshman year. So I played a few intermural sports at GMI, but I was mroe interested in "other things" besides football at that time. Well, I am giving this amatuer football league some serious consideration. Practices are Tuesday and Thursday after work. Games are on Saturday. I could stand to lose 100lbs of fat and gain 30 or 40 lbs of muscle, but I think I'd be alright. My wife loves to watch the NFL, so maybe she would be for it. I haven't asked her yet. What do you think? Have I been listening to Bruce Springsteen's "Glory Days" too much? -
Tonight I'm off to camp for a week of deer season and vacation. I got my Guns,Ammo, Atv's, and the Dog. Oh yea Mamamo is coming to I hope she brings some grub. I got satellite tv, cell phones service, plenty of wood cut for the new stove. 5 to 10 head of deer feeding on the place. Wvu football playing on the tube Saturday but wife says I need to attend my daughters wedding. Oh well still a good week coming.:dancefool:

while i was chating with jimbob about Handle bars , a bad Fla. gale blew up with 65 mph gusts , a family on a pontoon boat was in the middle of the St.John river , i got them in and tied up to me , they are ok but very shook up , they found out pontoon boats don't do well in high winds . before they left , the owner said he is going to watch football for the rest of the day , inside at home :rotfl:[ i am glad i had a clean pair of pants here , houseboats don't do fla. gales very good ether ] Thom
