  1. I agree, the 2003 color scheme is definitely the fastest!
  2. I had to go out and look for the switch for the driving lights. Owned my RSV for about a year and didn't know about it. Another reason to love these forums! :cool10:
  3. I like the old way. I would look at the home page active forums (or something close) and just manage what was read by what appears on that page. Was working great for me.
  4. I just opened this discussion, scrolled through both pages and it's still marked as unread. What am I doing wrong?
  5. Perfect!
  6. How does one mark unread posts as read without actually reading every one? I've been using the active threads and liked the way that was working. Thanks!
  7. Thanks, that helps a lot! What is the gauge down by the gas cap? I like that mounting point too.
  8. I had never heard about this stuff until my son brought some over for a family dinner about 6 months ago. Tastes great! :cool10:
  9. It's been a few years since you posted this but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. Could you post pictures of your tach installation? I'd like to install a tach on my RSV but don't want to spend the money needed for a Baron. Thanks!
  10. The track I was on had 18 degree banking. We didn't need to let off when turning but couldn't hold it to the floor or it would hit the rev limiter and run terribly. They said if we purchased 3, 8 minute sessions (cost like $1300), they raise the rev limiter to 5400 RPM for the last session. That should get you up to around 170 mph. As much fun as I had, I'm not going to drop $1300. I'll wait for another Groupon deal before I do it again.
  11. Nice speed! They told us that when the car was limited to 5000 RPM, it would be just over 150 MPH if you could hold it right at the limit without exceeding. I also definitely want to do it again!
  12. Thanks, I love the color combo on the 03 model!
  13. Just finished doing the Nascar Experience at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, IL. Unbelieveable!! Best lap averaged over 147 mph. Not the best but I'll take it. Cars are rev limited to 5000. If you ever get the chance, try it, you'll like it!
  14. I'm planning on attending. Hope to learn a lot!
  15. The other side is pretty much a hole. The part in the picture goes through the hole and then you give it a turn to "lock" it.
  16. What would you call this thing? Clasp? I'm not sure what I would enter as a search term.
  17. If I were to switch to RSTD bars, do I need to worry about longer cables, brake and clutch lines?
  18. I tested full right and left turns and didn't notice any problems. Cables seem snug but still have some tiny amount of slack.
  19. I just installed some handlebar extensions and noticed that at full turn, they interfere with the plastic surrounding the ignition switch. From what I can see, it's only the plastic that gets in the way. Should I be concerned?
  20. A motorcyclist in upstate New York was hit and the driver of the cage never stopped. They are trying to locate the driver of a black Suzuki Vitara. http://jalopnik.com/help-catch-the-hit-and-run-driver-who-injured-a-new-yor-490990764
  21. Congrats, you have the best color combo available!
  22. Thanks for posting. Paypal sent.
  23. I used a cpap for years and while it took some time to get accustomed to it, it did wonders for my sleep. I also went from a cpap to a mouth piece. I'm told I still snore but not nearly like I did before. The mouth piece is so much better when traveling!
