  1. I'd only be interested if it was SUNLIGHT ...
  2. This place is addicting. I'd say it's the most expensive addiction I have coz it sure does cause me to spend, spend, spend. So I spent another $12 to fuel this addiction.
  3. Heck of a deal! I like the ride and a couple of other features of the Vision ... just not fussy about the looks and the reduced cargo capacity compared to the Cross Country Tour. Plus the passenger footrests can't be lowered due to the tip over crash bar.
  4. The Tour model (standard XCT) is appx $1500 less but you don't get all the extras the X1 has plus, the X1 is a 2016 model year whereas all the others are 2015. Those extras add up to a lot of coin. Compare that to a similar Harley and you're gonna pay a ton more. That said, it is a lot of coin to spend on a bike but folks are doing it. My XCT retailed at $23,499 CDN when I bought it in May 2013. It's gone up by $2500 since. I wanted a new bike so I was prepared to spend the bucks. Anything comparable out there would be in the same ball park except of course, a Harley. Current MSRP for the Victory XCT is $25,999 .... comparable Harley is $33,xxx . You can be sure that if/when a new comparable Yamaha product comes out the MSRP will be competitively priced.
  5. You need glasses http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/645/23164/Motorcycle-Article/2016-Victory-Magnum-X-1-First-Look.aspx
  6. If it had the tour pack and lowers, etc like the XCT (mine) has, I'd be very tempted to trade. LOVE that paint design & color. There is much more to this bike than a regular stock Cross Country and I misrepresented it ... it's actually the 2016 model so even more enhanced than the 2015. http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/645/23164/Motorcycle-Article/2016-Victory-Magnum-X-1-First-Look.aspx
  7. I'll believe that price when I see the bill of sale! Sweet lookin ride tho!
  8. Victory's most recent offering .... X1 Magnum
  9. heck, you can't even get a used one for that ... let's see, 2011 I think is when they came out as the Tour model ... retailed here in Canada for appx 21,000. Not likely you'll find a 2011 for 9 g's anywhere. Maybe 15-18 tho
  10. Really? dang! :Bunny:
  11.
  12. I'm at the local Victory dealer right now hoping to pick up another bike but dang, there's guys here already, some have been camped overnight!
  13. I haven't read anything to that regard; however, I'd suspect they'll be practically giving them away.
  14. Polaris to end the Victory line effective April 1st All Victory dealers will have the option to convert to becoming Indian dealers, Or just sell Polaris off road vehicles 'Including the Slingshot.. Slow sales of the Victory line, And with Polaris wanting to devote more resources $$ to the Indian line warrant this move...
  15. I heard she doesn't groan anymore since she became your ex .....
  16. For all you guys interested in a set of these, don't expect them to make your bike look as good as Jonas's
  17. Hey Brenner, I can relate. When I was re-doing my '87, I was constantly having "fogging" issues. Meaning, it was a tad too cool in my garage and a lot of humidity due to constant rain so areas of the paint would turn a "milky" shade. I bet I re-did it 3 times and maybe more on some panels as I was using a cheap spray gun and sometimes couldn't get a level coat. In the end though, it did turn out extremely well. What frustrated me the most was I've done many, many paint jobs as I used to own a body/paint shop but then I had all the right equipment and proper paint booth environment. Goes to show that if you don't have decent equipment or environment, producing a quality job is not always easy to do. On top of that I'm somewhat a perfectionist so I would re-do over the slightest imperfection.

  22. For some reason, youtube thinks the music is copyrighted so I filed a dispute.
  23. At appx 35 seconds is when the real show starts ... I'm referring to the guy who's "diggin the tunes". I caught this action just near the end but up to that point he was really putting on a show LOL
  24. No warning, nothing ... full swing operations one day, closed the next. http://globalnews.ca/news/1909295/future-shop-stores-shut-down/
  25. Don't know how medical insurance in your country works but up here it only covers "you", not someone else. What is needed is liability insurance coz if in an accident and she gets hurt, that is what will protect you (and her). We have a law up here that states a child cannot be a passenger on a motorcycle if BOTH feet CANNOT rest flat on the footrests. Additionally, footrests are not to be altered from factory positioning to accommodate.
