Sounds good I have weekends off for a while due to lay off. Be a chance to get away and camp out for awhile. Busy spring break but after that is cool

Got laid off today after 15 years with the company. Went to Sams 2 years ago and today got the news Looking for new job deciding what I want to do at 55 (feb. 16) Staying positive made a sign so I can panhandle seems to work great for others (LOL) But seriously if anyone knows of a safety or compliance manger job let me know

Yes actually after replacing the vr again found a 3 ma short. I pulled and replaced a added on fuse box and it fixed it

Can a tubeless tire be used with a tube? My son has a Yamaha vstar 650 that has tubes. He has read that you have to use a tube type tire and the tubeless wouldn't inflate correctly. Thanks

synchronized carbs today on my 2012 Had it done on my 2016 by Squidley. Bought the carb tune and decided to try it myself. Pretty easy operation

Got back in today around 3 from our road trip. Had a flat tire on my Trailer about 4 hours out of home. What a way to start a road trip! As some may know we started on the bike it broke down in Shamrock Tx. ( clutch issues) Well Saturday the 10 me and Obber Charles from Amarillo tried until midnight to bleed the clutch. To no avail . Thanks to Chales for the hands on help and also a shout out to Squidley for the teck help over the phone. Squidley even offered to come to Shamrock from Houston ( at least 12 hours) to trailer me back home. So Sunday wife and I went to church and on Monday the preacher (who is into old cars) helped me get my bike to the powersport dealer in Amarillo using his really cool car trailer with a dove tail. Easy loading and unloading. So my Bike at the dealers and the wife and i got a rental car to complete our trip to the Dakota's and back. So we went from (loosing 2 days of travel) Texas thru Oklahoma, Kansas stayed the night in Ogaillia Nebraska. Stayed 4 nights in Custer South Dakota (wife actually camped 3 nights without any complaints). Even when the buffalogot really close to the car. Went to Stugis (on 4 wheels ) Then into Cody Wyoming for 2 nights. Then 1 night in Cheyenne Wyoming, pushing into Colorado staying 1 night in Limon ( a small interstate town, Then Thursday we got back to Texas. Back in Amarillo, first thing was to pick up the bike ( dealer said he ha to power bleed the clutch several times and then filling he blew air through it refilled and power bled again and wow the clutch worked. ( only cost me 106 for the bike and 420 for the rental car in unexpected expenses). Then a solo trip to the Cadillac ranch. So left Amarillo Friday and Stayed the night in Sweetwater Texas, Leaving this morning to head home to Round Rock, The only rain we got was while on the bike heading to the house this morning. High winds and rains. Glad i was on a Venture.

We were there Thursday I didn't think about checking posts to see if anyone else was there.

Took bike to dealer in Amarillo got rental car to finish vacation. Now we have seen sturgis on 4 wheels not 2. We are sitting here tonight in cody Wyoming camping at the ponderosa.

My clutch is out I am 7 hours from home. Charles from Amarillo and I bleed it but discovered that the rubber piece on the actuator / piston is ripped . I need the who clutch Master cylinder assy so I can get hgack on the road. Possibly overnight it would work. Please call me if you can help my number is 512 554 2731. I have a 2nd gen. Going to be traveling from Texas to Nebraska, South and North Dakota, Montana and into Wyoming to Yellow stone then back. Leaving the 10th and planning on returning the 23rd to home. Will be SD for a couple of days 14th to 16th Just a heads up in case someone wants to meet or help is needed. John
