My kid is wanting to mount cow horns on his Yamaha 650 custom. We want to mount them right above the headlight. Not a lot of options. Will it hurt to drill into the tree to mount a bracket?? Thanks

yes it was. at first it looks like the R6 are an inch smaller but they bolt up directly, the stock has basically 3 bolts the R6 has 2 but it works,you'll see

Got a question for you, have a new friend with a venture and he was bleeding his brakes with a back feed method,I have never heard of it. What is your take on the method? i watched a video and it seems a lot more time consuming and more tedious. Is there a benefit in doing that method. You input would be greatly appreciated Thanks trying to get him to join the group

really thinking about going, the wife cant but has given me a kitchen pass. Finished the R6 upgrade = love the new braking wish i would have done it years ago.

Installed R -6 calipers to my 2012 venture. Haven't bleed the system yet but, I will finish tomorrow. Can't wait to feel the braking difference.

Puc look at my crud drawing I think these will work, i was measuring form bolt to bolt on the outside bots When i got down and looked there is a 3rd bolt that mounts the bracket to the fork That span is 4 inches. I will try it when i get the time and the other caliper in.

Has anyone actually upgrade their 2nd gen 99 to 2013 to a 4 piston caliper in the front? i have order R1 and warrior calipers and the mount holes are 1 inch too close. thanks

I am wanting to upgrade to the R1 or R6 on my 2013 2nd gen. Can someone tell me what year I need to look for that will bolt up directly.

just bought a pair of 04 r-6 calipers I hope they bolt up
