    We were out there in May of this year. Fredericksburg has a great little restaurant at their airport. Luckenbach Tx is a great place to visit. we found several old forts to visit. Lots and lots of great riding out that way. We kept to the back roads and saw some beautiful country. I would like to go back and stay longer. We left Birmingham on a Monday morning with one reservation for Wednesday in Leakey Tx. Never had a problem finding a place to stay. Enjoy your trip!     Just as an FYI, there was no reset on the unit so I ended up disconnecting the battery. Hooked it back up and everything is working fine now. Can you say reboot!

    I have a 2007 RSV that I bought used several years ago. It has the trunk mounted brake bar and a brake bar on the bottom of the trunk. Until recently they would flash when the brake was applied. Now they just go to solid red. My guess is a fuse but since I did not install whatever controls the flash I'm not sure where to find the fuse. Thanks

    Just getting back from a 2243 mile ride from Birmingham Al to Abilene Tx. No sore butt here! I have been riding Ventures since 2000. On my second one now. Love Ventureland!

    A friend of mine just bought a 2000 RSV. He ask me if the turn signals, front and back, are suppose to act as running lights also? On my 2007 RSV the turn signals act as running lights. Any thoughts?

    There is a group of us leaving Birmingham around 7:00 AM Friday. Should be in Stockton by 11:00.

    Great long weekend up in NC. Two Wheel Inn is a good place to stay. Friendly owners, clean rooms and a garage for the bike. I would stay there again. We rode The Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, over to Maggie Valley and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Over 900 miles for the weekend. Also stopped and ate at Pools BBQ in Ellijay Ga. Had heard about the place and finally had the chance to eat there. Ready for the next long weekend.

    Thanks for all the input everyone! The guys I'm riding with have made reservations at Two Wheel Inn. I normally stay in Bryson Ciry at the Ridge Top Hotel. Very clean and biker friendly. Since the women folk aren't going, we should be good.

    First, let me introduce myself. I am Walter McGarr from Hoover Alabama. I just purchased my second RSV, a 2007 Midnight. My first RSV was a 2000 model. Rode a VTX1800 for four years after I sold the 2000 RSV. With introductions out of the way, has anyone stayed at Two Wheel Inn in Robbinsville? Heading up that way next week and was wondering what to expect. Thanks
