  1. Looks like a nice re-use of an old Moto Guzzi engine. Here was my guzzi before I came back to V4.
  2. had my 09 out today. 50 degrees and dry-ish today. great cruiser. a LOT of bike for not much money. 12k on it when I bought it in October. V4, bags, boards, glass and, well, just look.

  5. Thanks. There are 4 (and 6) cylinder units at https://digitalcarbsync.com/product/xtra4-assembled-kit-4-cylinder/. I have enough parts on hand because I ordered a few extra when I built VideoArizona's.
  6. Hey Boss That link looks active. Please delete - don't share.
  7. Thanks. Since I loaded the newest test version of the software, I added a jumper and header to act as a switch to turn on (default) or off the self-calibration step. You should leave it on, but some board builds display better with it off. Use whatever looks best to you. The simple math in the calibration can introduce rounding errors because the display has whole numbers only due to space restrictions. I turn it off on one of my six sensor boards that I use. Thanks again.
  8. VideoArizona, Your processor arrived and is loaded.
  9. My brother loved his and wishes he still had it. Great ride for cruising. On the highway, I was always reaching for one more gear.
  10. VideoArizona, your board is built. Just waiting for the processor to arrive...
  11. Is this it? Eight grand it looks like. https://www.cycletrader.com/dealers/Iron-Horse-Motorcycles-3015908/listing/1982-Honda-CBX1100C-SUPER-SPORT-115668951
  12. I just sold some of my digital carb sync stuff to a guy in Germany with an old Kawasaki KZ1300. That got me looking around for info on that and the Honda CBX1000. Anyone here with experience riding and working on these bikes? What was that like? Especially the carbs, but the bike in general. Any good forums like this one for those bikes? Thanks! I did find this https://www.motorcycleclassics.com/classic-japanese-motorcycles/6-cylinder-motorcycle-shootout.
  13. Email sent....Thanks for the interest.
  14. I'll start bringing this up to date now that I have a tour deluxe to experiment on. I'll be looking for lessons learned from others syncing their second gen engines. Need to refine the RPM feature. It's a contest between responsiveness and jitter. I sold my 89 before I got it exactly the way I thought it needed to be. If any of you who built or bought one I can make the experimental software version available. Just contact me on digital carb sync dot com here.
  15. Anyone had good luck with a rain cover. My cover they said would fit arrived today from Dennis Kirk. It doesn't fit. What are the lessons learned about brand and fitment? Thanks
  16. Everything is now on Github. Code, 2 compiled versions ready to load, board files to make your own, the CD files with instructions and pictures. Everything. Just google 'github digital carb sync shield'. I do have some nice quality black label boards if you want to skip making your own. PM me or contact me through Github.
  17. They have run that sale price a few times with different minimums and may again. Normally it is best to order all the parts from Digi-key in one go. Saves on shipping which will add up if you start ordering from multiple sources.
  18. A friend built a box. Looks pretty good, and functions just fine, but not a real solution.
  19. No need to bug him. What I like about this group is that we are a model of good forum behavior. Everyone should be so lucky. Maybe the bosses should tame Congress next.
  20. I posted everything on Github to encourage open source collaboration. Anyone and everyone can take that and run with it then give back. If you have electronics, software or box building skills go for it. He has and did a fairly good job. In the online economy it is always better to attribute and say thank you (both are free) than create ill will or even just suspicions (which may not be free). Life is short and the internet remembers forever.
  21. Now he has put together his own configuration and doesn't mention where anything came from. Of all the forums I've seen, this one is still the best. Best $12 ever!
  22. Verical is selling the sensors for $10! That really helps. https://www.verical.com/pd/freescale-pressure-sensor-MPXV6115VC6U-253910
