  1. Absolutely incredible. Aren't they amazing. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  2. Yeah a swag is basically a bedroll of any type. There are commercially available products but mine is adapted from bitsa this and bitsa that [emoji6]. I have a camp stretcher with holes drilled to hold fibreglass rods that keep the mossie net up off my bedroll. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  3. Got my clutch slave cylinder looked at yesterday and the mechanic bled the clutch for me. Friction zone is where it should be now. Cant see where the fluid is leaking from and its not leaking since we bled the system. Went for a ride out to the fishing village my father grew up in. Lovely day 25°C/77°F. Beachport South Australia. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks cowpuc always appreciate your words both educational and entertainment wise. Fresh oil 10/40w before I left. Queensland was 30°C/86°F. I arrived in South Australia two days later and 20°C/68°F. I have had some fluid loss from the clutch master before I left but none on the journey. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  5. Well I made it to South Australia today. The bike ran really well but I have started getting sticky gear shift and the friction zone in the clutch lever is instant action. Not good. My trailer came off its hitch. Thank god I allways cross the chains over. The tongue landed in the chains and I was able to come to a wobbly but safe stop. Got a lead on a good local bike mechanic. Thinking my clutch slave cylinder might need rebuilding. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  6. Mine had a sticky rod in the rear brake switch. I pulled the switch apart. Found the actuator rod, which is attached to the return spring on the brake pedal, was bent. Straightened that and put a new plastic lock nut on. My rear brake switch would stay on tricking the cruise into thinking the brakes were on. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  7. Took a four hour round trip to Woodford and home again. Flushed and bled the rear brake, repaired a dodgy rear brake switch and all went well. Cruise control is working full time again. Also added some old school highway pegs. Leaving for a 2000km interstate trip tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  8. There isn't much difference in the height of the tire. Check this link for comparisons. https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc?tires=150-80r16-130-90r16 Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  9. I have my reshaped and recovered in leather seats rode in now. Very pleased with the comfort. Went for an OEM style. Thinking of being more daring with my 99RSTD Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  10. http://www.venturers.org/Tech_Library/index.php?action=article&cat_id=002010&id=324 More reading on the intake rubbers Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  11. Head light bulb is H4 your driving/passing light bulbs are H3 Some people upgrade to LED or daymakers. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  12. As for speed if your handling is the issue it may need a new front tyre or at least check the pressure. Also check the steering head bearing for wear. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  13. The intake rubbers that you show here have normal cracking for the age of this bike. These are very thick rubber and will not need to be replaced even though this cracking looks really bad. To check if you have leaks in these you can spray WD40 or similar over them while the bike is running. If it doesn't change idle speed then there is no leak and you probably have several years of life left in the intake boots. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  14. Might be some sales available on the facebook pages for guys in the US looking for lift adaptors Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  15. God bless Craig. Prayers and strength to you and your family. Stay positive brother we are all in your corner. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
