  2. So I see your in Missouri, Considering I was in the St Louis area for Christmas vacation.....I am thinking some of our Canadian cold air stowed away among the luggage in the back of my pick up truck and jumped ship in Missouri . Sorry about that.
  3. Don't forget tomorrow night Jan 7th 6:30 pm at Tuckers Market Place Burlington ON 1st M&E of the year. Although reservations are made I always allow for a few extra late bloomers.
  4. What can I say .....I am back home now from my Christmas Holiday trip to Highland IL and I found things a little stuffy when I arrived home and had to open the door to allow the air to circulate a bit.
  5. Working Evening shift is just as bad. You go into work one day and come home the next and before you know it you don't know which day is which.
  6. This coming Sat don't forget! Looking forward to seeing everyone.

  10. So you got your antennas twisted around and now your signals are all scrambled. Don't worry about it because in your case we is all used to it. As far as the one person you don't much care for, I aint worried, cause I know it aaint me, after all who don't like the saddlebum. ....Evan Big Tom only pretended to not like me cause I am Canadian but even he couldn't keep up the pretence, cause the old saddlebum is just so darned likable and I' m bettin he is stiill in tears over me missing the WNY Rally last. summer.

  15. Just use plain aspirin. I have stretched the life of a couple car battaries by just tossing a couple aspirin in each cell. Not fool proof and does not work every time but on occasssion I have got better than 6 months out of a battery. That was back when batterys had caps.
  16. In other words........Its one place you can go were you wont have to crawl back in your corner
  17. Hey Flyinfool If I try to close that frozen back door of mine think maybe you could tune down that snow machine of yours a bit. Christmas eve day I am driving to Highland Ill, (which some may know is about 40 minutes outside of St Louis). I'll be crossing the Blue water Bridge at Sarnia/Port Huron, and then I-69 through Fort Wayne to Indianapolis then I-70 to US-40 into Highland. It will be the 1st time my wife gets to spend Christmas in her home town with her family in 24 years.
  18. Have never been on FB and more than likely never will be. Listening to other people's (including my Kids) comments, when they go on about something on FB, I have long ago come to the conclusion, it's Just a little tooooo gossipy and open for me. Plus sharing a bit of personal info among a few friends is one thing, but barring ones entire life and soul for the entire world to see is another. Having said that I do sometimes miss out when they share familly pics of the grand children etc. But then the way I see it if it's important enough to them for me to see the pic's then they will either email or text them too me.
  19. Glad to hear your still around and kicking Ponch. I hope despite all that is not so nice that you still have a very Merry Christmas and happy new year. And just so you know you may not be arround but you surely are not forgotten your name always comes up now and again specially at some of the Rallies.
  20. Crossing the border is easy as long as you don't have a record or been in trouble with the law (that goes for both ways) get your pass port in order and when the time comes be civil with the border patrol and answer there questions honestly and with respect and you should have no issues. Before coming over its best to check and see what you are and are not allowed to cross the border with. This can eliminate embarrassing situations. @bongobobny crosses here all the time so if you have questions he is your man.

  22. I gotta ask ...How is your tail bone? I know from experience that its a popular place to land in those slip type falls. And I learned that nerve injury down there can effect te nervous system all the way up to the skull. See a good physio therapist it would probably be worth your while. Having said that I am sorry to hear that you fell in the first. and hope for your sake there are no serious injures. BTW there are better ways of breaking up the ICE.
  23. That is a real shame, My bike was damaged worse than that in 2007 they gave me just over $6K for it, they had no book value on it so they went by the asking price of a few bikes that were posted in sales ad's. I then I bought it back for $220.00 and restored it. Once I was done, It looked better after the accident than before.
  24. Would you have made the same offer if he didn't have all them pecan pies?
