  3. Is there a motorcycle somewhere under them lights?
  4. I'm no help. I got a cement pond. I use chlorine.
  5. I found out the hard way on bike tires. I had a Kawasaki 900 Vulcan. I ran the pressures stated in the owners manual. Tires were shot in 5k. About 3k in I noticed they were looking worn. Found out on some 900 forums that pressures needed to be more. Found out the same thing on the RSV and now on the Victory. So it appears bike tires are the same as car tires. If you use the pressures on the sill plate, you will get the nice cushy ride the manufacture boasts about. If you want mileage, go with the tire manufactures recommended pressures. Better stability, mileage.
  6. We are talking August rite? School for me starts back about Aug 15-17 I think. Dang job.......
  7. The positive sound of my Victory really dont sound much louder than m RSV going into first. Anything above that if your in the right RPM range I really dont notice any difference. Down shifts a bit more. But I guess I'm getting use to it. The cable clutch is a bit hard to get use to. some install an aftermarket hyd kit, I added what they call an "ez pull" arm to mine. All the manufactures seem to be targeting the younger crowd and under 15-20k range. Payments my friends is what the praise. Look at all the adverts. Victory sends stuff out all the time something about "ride one for $5 a day" Same with cars, most of those prices the spurt out on the commercials are lease and you give the car back to them in 36 months and your either walking or lease another. Harley just came out with another smaller displacement bike under 1000 cc. SO who do you think they are going after? The Bolt, Suzuki seems to be stuck in a time warp adventure bikes seems to be where they are focused. Harley has at least 4 or 5 bikes now under 10k. Unheard of 4 or 5 years ago except a sporty. Sorry to run on.
  8. I have a Lincoln 225 buzz box stick welder. I have not used it in like 20 years. When I was building race cars it got a work out. I found a good place to store my rods was an old ammo box. Fairly air tight so it kept rods dry.
  9. I have my new Venture. Looks sort of similar to the one you have in the picture.
  10. My granddaughter has one of them there electric cars. She is only 5
  11. MAN am I impressed. You got to talk to a real live human. Thats rare.
  12. I put some 3m protective film on my XCT. It came from a place called tank slappers I think. Had pre-cut pieces for tank, bags etc. But you are wanting to do a pretty rounded area I think and it gets more difficult on rounded stuff like tanks. But I have heard good things about this 3m paint defender stuff.
  13. Kirby, yup sent him on that mission also. Check terminals at battery, both cables on the starter solenoid. Also the ground points on battery and block.
  14. To make a little clearer guys. I suggested a finger nail file, not a big ol metal file. LOL
  15. I would like some better speakers in my SMH10. They are a bit on the tinny side. Still working on the music situation. Bike has ipod and I have a way to blue tooth the signal. Overall I am happy with the Sena
  16. My closest motorcycle dealer of any kind is 45 min one way.
  17. Mike, you talking a relay for the passing lights? Or the ignition?
  18. My cummins pick up is always a disaster looking for a place to happen. The capacity is more than either drain pan I have, so I either have to switch while flowing or plug it and swap. Neither of which is pretty at times. And the 2.5 qt oil filter gehish
  19. http://www.sherv.net/cm/emoticons/sleep/yawning.gif
  20. Here are the numbers @ Orielys. MGL51356 & Wix 51356 are cross for the 14610. Wix 51365 is the short one.
  21. Man I sure dont know where this bolt is, but if you access maybe try a left hand twist drill bit. The reverse direction of bit will sometimes back the broken piece out as your drilling
  22. I found that Oreilys has WIX filters for good price. And the Wix filters fit right. Even on my Victory it uses the same filter the RSV did. I still use the long option.
  23. You all got diesels up there? Check out Shell Rotella T6. Its full Synthetic 10w40 I think and JASMO rated for bikes. It is a diesel oil.
  24. Kitchen pass on my end. From the boss.
  25. Hmm sounds interesting. Only thing I left from camping gear we had once is a sleeping bag and coleman lantern. I was looking for a ride this summer. Now if I can only get a kitchen pass.
