  1. I just got some of them, from my local Yamaha shop for $205.Nice bags for that money, still had to pay $150 for the mounts though. They were pretty surprised behind the counter when that was the price. Those bags were originally $800+.I love a good deal...
  2. I would just leave it home. The ride down alone ,you will probably travel through non reciproctating states any way. I, from time to time carry.I believe that if an American citizen,Qualifies for a conceal carry license it should be valid in all 50 states.I dont mind having people have to qualify and pass criminal background checks in order to have a conceal carry licenses,They should. There is no reason that my right to carry should end at the state line, unless i qualify for and maintain a license in another state, thats just stupid. One license, thats it.
  3. Wet leaves and acorns. Sometimes its like some one threw a handful of marbles on the road
  4. Once at a gas station, just pushing ahead to go back the opposite way down the road, cut it too much and she just tipped over. The guy behind me helped me pick it up,Oh well so much for not doing dumb stuff when people are around. No damage it just rested on the floor board. One night when I got home from work (I work 2nd shift) I tried to get off my Goldwing with out puttin the kick stand down.Thats not much fun,it sorta pinned me between the deck stairs and the bike,I hadda muster up all kinds of strength to get that up off my leg.No witnesses to that little fopah,I was a little sore the next day:bawling:
  5. I'm looking for extended brake and shift levers for my 98RoyalStar. I'd like to keep the boards just extend the brake pedal an inch or so.(my foot all ways seems to be stuck under it) The same with the shift lever, eliminate the heel shift and extend the lever an inch or so. I found the Soft Brake site, they offer a brake pedal but I dont see a shift lever for the RoyalStar just the RoadStar. Any one know of another company making levers for the RoyalStar? thanks jim
  6. Turns out the battery must have been leaking for a while, the starter relay was pretty well eaten up.I replaced that and she's good to go.
  7. Had the bike(98 RoyalStar) out for a few hours every thing seemed fine. The next day went to start the bike and nothing,no lights ,nothing. I looked at the battery and it was a little wet like it was leaking.I bought a new battery charged it up and still nothing.I've been searching around a little and was thinking May be some thing fell off the switch or some thing dumb.checked the ignition fuse, looks ok.I did not check the Main fuse,I saw that looking around the forum,I guess the location for that is behind the cover at the left passenger foot rest?Is that some thing I can tell is cooked by looking at it? Is there some other common thing that causes this I should be looking at? Thanks jim
