  1. Bob, old boy, those are all for MKIs. Mike needs rotors for a 1987, MKII.
  2. I've not been online since you posted this pic of a Suzuki Katana Turbo, but I immediately knew what it was when I saw it. Haven't been able to find your picture of it as yet, though. So, my answer: 1984 Suzuki XN85 'Katana' Turbo. Edit: found it: 1983 Suzuki XN85 http://raresportbikesforsale.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/XN85_11-600x450.jpg http://www.motorcycles20thcentury.com/motors/normal/Suzuki-XN85Turbo-1984.jpg
  3. Dirt bike? Ya think!?
  4. There was a road bike with same paired Ossa engine for the Spanish market. http://motoguapa.lamaneta.net/Yankee/yankee%20500ss2.jpg

  6. "Looks much bigger" because, according to my source it is a 2010 GV250. http://www.jetsport.com.au/hyosung/hyosung-gv250.html http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/attachments/motorbikes/1092039d1370252888-dsk-hyosungs-next-launch-india-aquila-250-edit-now-launched-rs-2-69-lakh-hyosung-aquila-gv250-cruiser-2.jpg
  7. That is not exactly true. Been done with good results in a freeze/thaw environment. It is all about water management. Good substrate drainage management. Air entrained paste. I will agree that pavers look better, but man! a lot more work. You could consider stamped concrete with a desirable pattern, too. Check out this page: http://www.cement.org/for-concrete-books-learning/materials-applications/pervious-concrete/pervious-concrete-and-freeze-thaw
  8. DAHIK: Make doubly sure, as you scamper from window to window, looking for your best shot, that the window is OPEN before you send that round flying.
  9. Jeff, although you said a slab was not in the cards because it had to be permeable, Boomer is correct about a slab being less labor. The excavation would still be required though. Investigate a permeable (AKA Pervious ) concrete slab. Yes, there is such a thing. The substrate would also have to be permeable (pea gravel, or such). http://www.srmconcrete.com/images/pervious-photo2.jpg
  10. Don, I am relieved to hear that your problem was not health related and I am also relieved to hear that Eileen and you are working it out. Having suffered through two divorces, I know you and Eileen don't want to go there. Here's to a long and happy relationship. Good luck! Thank you for your candor. I can stop worrying now.
  11. Yes. No. Got any young and able neighbors, nephews, friends? Beer MIGHT be less expensive than a mini excavator.
  12. This will be pretty easy, I think.

  14. Pretty close, but it is a 1956 BSA B33 500cc.
  15. EARL! How the heck have you been? Haven't noticed you around here much lately. How is Jean doing?
  16. The OP posted the link where he bought it on his first post.
  17. For the thumper fans.
  18. 1988 Harris Matchless G80. http://cybermotorcycle.com/gallery/harris/images/Harris_Matchless_G80_1988.jpg
  19. Almost bought this bike, when I was young and dumb.
  20. It's difficult to pin down the year, but I am going to say it is a 2006 Yamaha XJR1300. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_St8PvhYLC4c/TQinI--Hz5I/AAAAAAAADT8/SicCkouTd60/s1600/Yamaha_XJR1300_2006_motorcycle-pictures_4.jpg
  21. Here's my offering for a guess. Note that I didn't have to do any editing to remove badges, etc. That's just the way it comes from the factory. Well, almost. The seat is not stock.
  22. Here's another V-12. A bit better looking. http://motorcyclephotooftheday.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/engelskqe32.jpg
  23. And it's a V-12! http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/09/jagged_edge_front.jpghttp://www.carpictures.com/pics/640/07J9A224325958A/Custom-V12-Twin-Turbo-Motorcycle-2007-07J9A224325958A.jpeg Right now, while you're reading this, there's a scion of Dr. Frankenstein out there somewhere, digging, chopping, cutting, welding, twisting auto parts into entirely new combinations. The man behind the UK shop Custom Mettle is one of them. Having a 5.3-liter Jaguar V12 with nothing to do, he added a few drinks (for himself), and go the idea to build this: the Jagged Edge. But the V12 alone, obviously, wouldn't be enough -- so he swiped two turbos off of a Peugeot diesel engine, and bolted those on as well. He threw in the middle gearbox from a Yamaha XS1100, clutch and pressure plate from a Land Rover 110, release bearing from a Land Rover Freelander, and the front and rear wheels from a Kawasaki GPZ1000RX, the the The result: 400 BHP and 400 lb-ft. On two wheels. Or, in other words: freakish madness. It's for sale in the UK, it needs some work, and it's not registered, but it's only three thousand pounds. That's pretty cheap for the chance to indulge your Road Warrior fantasies on Frankenstein's monster. Check out the gallery of images below.
