:sign yeah that:Bring the bars up and back a little. Makes a world of difference. If that doesn't work, send the seat to Rick Butler. You can find him in the classified section. Never had his mod done, but everyone that has swears by it.
I have a 99 rsv with a motortrike conversion solid rear axle. It handles great but like the others have mentioned it is a stiff ride. I wish Motortrike would make there independent rear suspension kit for the rsv.
This past October we planned a trip to the BRP, but the early winter changed our plans. So we will try again in June. Plan on heading down on the 14th. We will trailer the trike to N.C. and ride as much of the lower BRP as we can get in,in 5 to 6 days. We plan on hitting Maggie valley and the dragon. Not sure where home base will be at this time. Thinking about the Linville area. If anyone is planning on being in the area, maybe we can hook up.
lets just say after towing the trike home in a snow storm requires some very deep cleaning. I hit the speakers with direct water pressure to flush out any salt that may have gotten in there. they still work just fine.
also drain the tank and check for rust. this bike has been sitting more then riding over the years. replace all fluids, clutch, brake, cooling, rear end grease and lube. if original tires, I would change them.
I get my keys made at Lanes Yamaha. The owners wife is amazing, she can look at a key and Knows what key code to use. Then punches in the code and out comes a new key. apparently there are only so many variations to Yamaha keys.
