Just looked Cleveland up on the map and I don't think we are going that far south. I will have to make that another trip. Just gives me a reason to ride south again.

Bike is running great. Can't wait to see what it does on the trip. Much smoother and better response.

Two days until I start my week of traveling down through NC. First stop is in Nags head for 2 days. Making our way to the Iron Horse Lodge to ride the Tail of the Dragon. Finish the trip by going up through WV via Charleston. 7 days and hopefully about 2,000 miles of great riding.

I have a Rivco center stand on my 06 RSV. It does a little work to get it on the stand but I do like it. Makes it great for storing in the garage, changing the oil or doing any work on the bike. I also like it for long trips when I cover it at night. Don't have to worry about someone knocking it over. I have had it scrape on hard left turns, but not a real issue.

Just had jlh3rd assist me with syncing the carbs. I thought that was all I needed when I arrived. John helped me set the proper idle on the bike, found a cracked hose and plug and synced my carbs. Needless to say, it was like riding a different bike on the way home. So smooth and better pick-up and best of all no more back fires as I slow down. This experience alone will make me a paid member, not just a trial member. If the site has a lot of people like John, it will not only give me a lot of knowledge, but also meet some really great people. Thank you for your help John.

Is there anyone near Lancaster or Harrisburg PA that would be willing to help me with my first carb sync?

I had mine break off right at the black part. Since it was less than 5 years old, the dealer replaced the whole antenna under the warranty. Saved me $150.

I am going to ride the Dragon for the first time July 20th. Staying at the Iron Horse.
