  1. I also got my transition 2 from competition accessaries. Took four months because of a national backorder! Called 3 times because website said they had it in stock not friendly, every time was told it was gonna be in the next shipment from tourmaster. Now thats fine but don't tell me its in stock when I ordered it and then after paying not let me know I'd have to wait. In fairness it was a 3xltall that I ordered, but I ordered it from them because they said they had it. Everyone knows that fat guys don't deserve good service so as long as your normal sized I would say go ahead. I love the length it doesn't allow for crack exposure which can be a issue for jackets that end at my waste. Would I buy this jacket again? Yes in a minute, I love it:bighug:Blocks the wind at the neck and at the wrists. Just be sure you want a jacket that you'll have to sit on because of the length. Its not a issue for me worth every penny once I got it. In fairness they are not the only website that claimed to have something and really not have it. But it still makes me angry. Danimal
  2. Thanks everybody you can check them out at www.equineadoption.com These folks don't get paid anything. All the money goes directly to those horses. My wife is so happy right now. Thanks for your votes and also for passing along the link. Danimal and wife.
  3. Thank you so much mini-muffin. You:guitarist 2:!

  6. Wow thanks for the advice. Basically Dave Ramsey is a guy who has a program to get you out of debt. 1. Save a emergency fund of 1000 dollars. 2. Pay off all debt by starting with your smallest loan or cc and snowballing your payments as you pay them off. 3. Save 3 to 6 months of living expenses. 4. Invest 15% of income in Roth IRA's and pretax retirement. 5. College funding for kids. ( I will be able to skip this one. ) 6. Pay off home early. 7. Build wealth and give. Now I know this all sounds pretty much like common sense but it isn't all that common anymore. I don't believe that at any time in my life has someone said " hey pal what are you thinking " when I wanted something I just financed it. Of course this is my fault, and theres no way I'm gonna default on my debt but there are plenty of folks that would. So I guess I just wondered if anybody had done his program (Christian based I think.) Thanks all for the replies, my lovely wife doesn't see a problem yet but she's not looking at the checkbook quite the way I have been. Hopefully she'll see the light SOON. Thanks again Danimal
  7. Hi just wondering if anybody is using the Dave Ramsey debt program? If so did it work or is it working for you? I'm just starting to see that it would be alot easier to have no debt. I mean of course it is but you know that aint easy. Any advice would be appreciated, what with the economy and all things have gotten uglier around here! Thanks for your input.===Danimal
  8. I hauled my 04 from Wisconsin to North Carolina when I sold it with a U-haul motorcycle trailer. Worked great too. The front has kind of a V in it for the front wheel so all you gotta do is tie it down and hammer. I rented it for a week and had it back in three days so they credited my cc for the difference. Make sure you have a spare tire and a jack, it helps keep Murphy away!! Best of luck, thats a beutiful bike. --- Danimal
  9. Did someone mention cheesecake? Now thats love at first sight! Actually I would try to get a hold of Honda's advertising wing. They may show some interest in helping you. You might get that number from the magazine. Or maybe one of the people there have tested one like it. Please post a picture so I can lust over something too! Hmmm cheesecake... I wonder whats for lunch. Good luck anyway, Danimal
  10. Yeah I saw it on the Kawi forum, thought someone might get a kick out of it. It gave me a full belly laugh. I haven't had one of those since the federal buyout. I showed it to my wife over there and she said you gotta pass that one along. I hope you folks thought it was funny too. Apologies if I offended anyone. If I had put it in the joke area you all would've been on to me before the end. The really good news is my spark plug wire is fine! But I knew noone would buy the oil leak story, so I changed it up a little. Oh yeah, my wife probably wouldn't cheat on me cause I'd divorce her. What's half of $150,000 of debt? She just can't afford that . At least I don't think so... Have a great rest of your weekend everyone.---Danimal
  11. Hey folks I don't post often but I lurk almost daily. Having said that I believe you all to be pretty solid well informed people. So here goes it, I believe that my wife is cheating on me! Here's what has led me to think this. Lately she's been going out with the girls after work. When I ask who they are she just says you don't know them there just some girlfriends from work. Also it seems that lately if I answer the phone, the caller hangs up but if she does its a conversation thats private and she just leaves the room. Then I grabbed her cell the other day to check what time it was, You'd have thought I had a bomb in my hands the way she rushed over and grabbed that phone. She said that I didn't need to check the time on the phone I could have just walked into the kitchen to check the wall clock? I noticed that these friends always drop her off a few houses down or around the corner, I asked her why. She said she just wants to get some fresh air. So tonight I'm taking a shower and when I get out there's a note on the counter. It says the gals called and she was just gonna have a couple of drinks that she'd be home in an hour or so. Well I'd had enough, I decided I was gonna get a good look at these friends when they dropped her off! So I roll the venture down to the street so I can hide behind it and get a good look when she get's back. That's when I noticed that one of my plug wires it cracked and looks pretty worn. Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it to the dealer? Thanks in advance I know I can count on you folks when it comes to maintenance. Danimal
