Most BP stations here in Michigan are more exspensive than other stations. Gotta pay for the spill somehow. Kind of like the gas station in Hamburg. He has had higher gas prices for years. He remodeled the inside 3 times in about the last 6 years at the expense of customers. Now Kroger put up a station and is putting a hurt on him.

Research on here plugging the AIS system. Once you do that, all will be right with the world.

I have not heard too much good about the frogg toggs. I have a Tourmaster suit. Never got wet yet!

Also.....when you see the guys taking your picture.....keep your eyes on the road and not the guy taking your picture!

Holidays and summertime= higher gas prices.

I run 87 in my 2007 RSV. Riding solo I average 42-44 mpg. Riding two up pulling the trailer I get 38-40. As far higher octane just burning money as stated by someone else, your only talking about the price differance on 5 gallons of gas on average. If your getting more milage on higher octane, then by all means run it. I have always used 87 and will continue to do so.

Print off a copy of that law wherever you found it and keep it in your trunk. Next time if you get pulled over, show it to him. If he makes an issue, have him get a supervisor out there. Sometimes the leo's need there pp smacked.

Jay, I am going to contact Samson on Teusday to see if there is an option or a way to achieve this. Maybe I am being picky. I like the sound of the Harley pipes I drilled out. Not too loud, nice rumble. I did not realize how loud the Samsons are. They don't bother me back and forth to work or on day rides, but pulling the trailer and on vaca for a week, they are a bit much. I just want to quiet them down a touch. Just a little louder than the Harley's. Wonder if there was a way to bond packing inside. It would'nt take much.

I have a set of Samson turn outs on my 07 RSV. I love the pipes, but I also have a set of Harley pipes that I had on the bike before the Samsons. The Samsons are louder, but I love the turn out look. These are a one piece construction. Does anyone know of a service or a way to add some packing through the end to quiet them down a bit without cutting them?

You can kind of see the guard in the pic at the left grip. It's the only pic I have at the moment.

My wife has a set of clear smoke hand guards on her Honda 750 shadow. That is an option. Switching out the fairing......big job. What would you do with the speedo? I would not even consider trying to switch it out. You could end up with a real mess real quick.

Bridge was classified as funtionally unstable and fracture criticle last year. Meaning that if any ONE component were to fail, the whole thing could come down. Guess what? It did. The bridge was kept open even after it was inspected and found to be unsafe. Time for some poeple to lawyer up.

You can wet sand it down and wheel it out if there is enough paint (layers), but if the guy was trying to pass this off as a finished product then I doubt he will be able to fix it. I take it you did not take this to an actual body shop? He sounds like a hack and I would tell him to fix it correctly and then get a lawyer ready. I think you may need it.
