Thanks Guys. I've been having trouble with Sugar shifting for a while. Just not as I think it should be. When it gets hot in traffic it clunks pretty bad. I'm thinking this will cure her. Already done the bleeding fluid change and anything I could think of. So I might snatch this one.

Don't show MK1s Jack. Was thinking for the 86. It fits 86 V-Max but don't show Venture.

Is a 03 clutch slave the same as 1st Gens?? I'm gonna have to learn how to check this stuff. Several 2nd Gen parts that will fit 1st Gens and sometimes a lot nicer when 20 yrs newer.

Yeah I seen a nice set......oh should read 1st. I think 83-85 racks are different. Older ones are flatter don't point up in front. After 93 I know nothing about them. Not sure if they are legal. I mean will fit. Sorry bout that I'm really not sure...

Ride the 2nd Gen and start turning out "Yammer 1st Gens" from all those parts?? Done had that thought and it ain't gonna happen. How would I feel the 1st time someone blew past me on one of my bikes????

Wasn't the oil but how long it had been in there. Due for change when it starts shifting hard and gets noisey. I've used Castrol 20/50 for about 50 yrs with never a oil related problem.

I've passed on some good deals and this one was a awesome bike. I looked at the parts I have and thought it over. Lost a whole nights sleep sitting out in garage. I can't see me on a trike and I passed on best chance to ever go anything but a 1st Gen that I will probally ever get so on with the 1st Gens!!! At least I Got the BEST!! And a few parts......
