  1. Put some on mine and love them. I highly recomend that you make sure that both ends (exhaust headers and mufflers) are clean and ALL deposites removed. I spent an hour trying to fit the left muffler on and then took my dremel and cleaned both ends up real nice and added a little high temp grease on the inside of the muffler and the outside of the header. The right side was completed in about 10 minutes after they were cleaned up. Also make sure your mufflers end with -95, -95a, -98 or -98a so you can drill out the baffles. I also recomend contacting Mark at hillis73@aol.com for your brackets. This guy is great and has allot of info for you on how to complete your install. He sells the brackets here http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showproduct.php/product/1729/cat/7 Good luck. Smely
  2. Hey Sonny, I have the same pedal and am missing 1ea. strip. Can you post the web site for the replacements? I would like to replace mine. The only thing I would worry about when scuffing up the chrome is corrosion. I'll have to see what type of glue they send before I decide to do that. Smely
  3. OK, now I have one for you. I just bought a '04 midnight RV 2 weeks ago. Before that I was riding a Honda VTX (about 200lbs lighter). The wife and I decided to go eat at a restaurant in the country. We arrived there after a beautiful ride and I pulled into a parking spot. Once I got into the spot I noticed that it had a larger than normal slope down that I just nosed the bike into. I didn't think it was a big deal because I had parked the X on plenty of slopes and backed it out LOL. After a fine dinner we went out to get on the bike for the ride home and there were several people standing around admiring the bike. I jumped on feeling really good about how cool I looked on my new ride. That coolness subsided rather quickly when I had to ask the wife to get off and push from the front because I couldn't budge it out of the hole. What a site.....how embarrassing. Smely
  4. Just bought a '04 midnight and absolutely love it! This bike purrs like a kitten. Not sure what noise the later models make but mine came with an automatic noise eliminator. Just turn it up more, the controls for it should be on your left handle bar. :guitarist 2:Only noise I don't like is the stock exhaust. Doing the HD mod this weekend. Smely
