Steve Wagner used zip ties to put them on. He lived about 20 miles from me and we did a couple of rides together and used to have local maintenance days at his garage. A great guy, and is missed.

That said. I've blocked that web address for email.

I know this is a debated item. But some members have reported that use of high detergent oils can cause clutch slipping. And that yamaha MC oil of the non-synthetic version is the best as it relates to clutch slippage. That said, I use Rotella non-synthetic wo problems, but don't have as many miles as many here.

Make sure you check which of the 2 types of driving lights you have. 1) standard bulb or 2) w sealed beam.

I'm going to guess that you'll find one of the 4 exhaust header pipes is heating up more slowly than the rest. A coil failure has already been mentioned as a probable issue, although it might be a carb issue. A heavy dose of Seafoam is a good starting point. Then run the tank w seafoam thru the engine.
