@sleepy2 My thoughts and prayers to you and your nephew's family and close friends. My your nephew rest in peace. Not surprised about the price of anti-freeze from a moto dealer. The next time I do my anti-freeze, I am simply sticking with Prestone which I seem to have no problems with. Take your time and enjoy the install. The fruits of your labor will show in no time. Got called in to work once again, but at least I was able to ride and take advantage of the nice weather we are having.

I ordered an Air Filter for my SVTC, but I got the wrong air filter. This is what they sent me (see pic) and it will have to go back as a return. The one I got is way too big. Would anyone know the exact part number of the air filter for the 2018 SVTC?

Good morning to all! TGIF. Weather is great here in SE Pa. Have been riding for the last 2 days after all the rain last weekend. Cutting the grass today and I just might have enough daylight to wash the truck. Enjoy your Friday.

FWIW, I've used Prestone coolant on my RSV and had done it twice already. So far so good.

Good evening to all. The weekend is gorgeous weatherwise and was able to do my yardwork yesterday. Also checked all brake pads on the SVTC and RSV for my peace of mind during this riding season. So far so good. I got called in today for work, so right after church I was on my way to work. Hope you enjoyed the weekend and have a relaxing night. Ride Safe.

I've never really seen the insides of a Stator. Thanks for sharing the pics. Looks to me there are a few burnt coil windings. Best of luck on your project. Looks like you are getting closer to replacing the main objective. This afternoon, I was able to change oil on the SVTC. Used T6 Rotella.

Now it is getting more exciting. Thanks for telling us the 'Play-by-Play' as you progress through your project.

28° is cold on the Venture, but you went on your first Venture ride which is priceless. I usually take the SVTC on cold rides below 45°. Our consolation: Warmer days is just around the corner.

@sleepy2 Another $25 dollars to get the right part and a delay. Another week of waiting and you should be all set. Hang in there. I know, it can be a little frustrating when ordering online. On my end, I've been riding the SVTC all week since the morning commute has been on the chilly side. RSV will get an oil change Sunday night after work. Got called in to work once again for the weekend. I was able to cut my grass today and washed the wife's car. FWIW, 'Mission Accomplished' for Friday. Have a relaxing night.
