  1. I bought two JM at Thunder Beach last year for the price of one and LOOOVE THEM. Then I added the edsets plug and play ( MicSplit-Venture-No ) so that I can talk into the cellphone and now it's perfect. Great service at the JM booth.
  2. I have the Garmin 665 and get perfect stereo and weather alerts and traffic and nav through plugging it into the aux port on the cassette deck. I WAS UNABLE TO TALK BACK TO MY CELL PHONE ....UNTIL... I found EDSETS out of Warner Robbins, Ga. who have a plug and play that goes between the headset plugin and has an extra 1.5mm plug for microphone in. On the 665 it works perfectly and I can now take and make calls and the person on the other end CAN ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND ME AT 65 MPH. Their number is (937)-271-4077 and the part is "MicSplit-Venture-No" and I think I paid $70. On my trip to Greenville, SC this weekend My son and I could call each other from our bikes and ride and talk with no problems. He has an offbrand BMW with no CB, and a new$1000 Schuberth helmet with bluetooth to his Zumo 550 and his sound quality even at that price was like monaural. He liked mine better.
  3. Have one mounted on top of my Bushtec Trailer since about 2007. Dog hates riding but carrier is beautiful. He can hang head left or right for air or stay out of the wind in the center. Never had any problems with it. It was installed at the Honda Hoot a few years ago and was the hit of the show. Well made. Easy on and off.
  4. :doh:Now, I know it's just me but I bought a 2003 Midnight Venture with the studded Corbin seat and would gladly trade anybody for a pillow top or original seat. I hate Corbin and only wish Mustang knew Venture existed. Corbin looks great but I keep sliding down and having to push back again. This is the second Corbin I have owned and I gave the last one away (1998 Honda VT1100T) and got a Mustang and was in love. David Andrews, known as HIGH TECH REDNECK.
  5. I own a Bushtec Trailer with about 10,000 miles on it. Just bought 2003 Midnight Venture. What hitch would be the best for this bike? Of course I can buy a Bushtec hitch but some others LOOK better. Any ideas?
  6. I have towed a Bushtec Trailer for 10,000 miles all around the USA. It is not getting the mass started that matters, it is the stopping distance and the tongue weight that matters. ONLY DUAL FRONT DISC BRAKES AND YEARS OF CONTROLLED BRAKING WITH BOTH FRONT AND REAR BRAKES IS GOOD ENOUGH. Also, If the weight of the bike is exactly centered over the axle of the trailer then 10% forward for tongue weight, the bike can get any mass started and tracking will work fine. That said, I live in Atlanta and have a 4 position motorcycle flatbed trailer with Baxley chocks that you are welcome to use if you have electric trailer brakes and a class III hitch. That would be a lot less expensive OTHER THAN GASSSSSSS. I have just joined this group today, looking for a Venture (new) and welcome any suggestions on where to buy in Atlanta.
