1. I think for me, I am looking at about 45 minutes to the side. So an hour and a half maybe, no probably two hours. I am slow and stiff. Thanks. PS; I thought maybe I could take some pictures as I go, maybe you or Freebird could add them to your thread if you want. I could post them here maybe or in another thread.
2. No Sir, I did not. Now I believe you told me in another thread when I was purchasing the lights, Sorry I forgot. Will take a look now. Thank you very much. Update; Thank you Don for this fine thread. Just as I suspected, glad I do not have to remove the rear wheel for this. I will tackle the rest another day. But soon, before I forget where everything goes back. I also have the Harley lights and bracket to install. I want to get to it soon, I have a ride trip planned for May 18 to Arkansas. Thanks again, I was so frustrated at first. Now I believe I can finish it another day. Taking my 8 yr old son back turkey hunting again in the morning. Turkeys get up early.
3. Now add some lights to it. Nice job there. Good idea..... :thumbsup2:
4. I have the lens off. Instructions say run the orange and red wires through the signal stem and wire in. Well, not that easy so far. I figure I will quit until I feel more comfortable with my friends help here. How in the world do I get those wires through that stem ? I do not want to break something else, like a signal bulb connection. I can not get the wire through there. Royal Tour Deluxe 2007. Please Help ????
5. I received the Harley lights today. Got the Dynamic clusters two days ago. I will be installing soon. The Harley lights made in Taiwan are really a nice product for the money. Made of heavy metal, the package weighed 9 lbs, and nice looking chrome. I am impressed so far, the plastic lenses are the round bullet type in red. A good coat of wax will go on the bar and light brackets before installing. I bought wire and quick connects, male female, to wire the light bar. Light 18 gauge wire for all wiring. :thumbsup2:
6. Wow, close. I always ride near the yellow line and then when meeting a funeral always stop always. If you had not been over next to the white line he would have killed you. But as I said, I always ride the two feet max from the yellow center line. Glad you where not injured by this person whom was probably on the cell phone in one way or another. I work for state hwy and see it everyday.
7. I would recommend that you go straight to your closest Yamaha shop or get online and order this direct from the company. These different tolerances are important to the true running of your rear tire/wheel. Lat alone your safety. Then make sure you put the washer and the rest of the wheel back together slowly and precisely. Much easier to remove than to put back correctly. Take your time here. :thumbsup2:
8. I did the antifreeze change and ask the same questions. There is a good write up about doing the total antifreeze change somewhere here in tech library. Maybe you are not doing a change ? But here is the links to help you. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=59791 http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=59904 Maybe this will help.

OK, got me there (P Code). I thought you had a code for when someone needed to stop to P. I thought I had missed out on something when it came to road talk/signs ? LOL Got me ...... Been riding for 30 yrs........
10. Rick did my seat. A+ ...... Cost more to ship it to Texas than for him to do the seat. I like mine. 5' 11" 280 lbs of muscle.
11. Thanks for sharing. What a surprised young man. Smokinnnnnnn......
12. I can tell you the chroming is very expensive unless you know someone who knows someone. The chrome paint does not look all that bad if you wait on good weather day and take your time. Good job.....
13. Glad your OK Sir. Also glad you realize where your help comes from. Hope and pray you have a quick recovery. :thumbsup2:
14. Very nice photo and descriptions Sir. Thank you very much.

17. Thanks, I will check them out first.
18. Thank you Sir. That is what I was pondering. Did you say you had the cluster lights on the rear. If so, where did you wire them in, the taillight ?
19. Thank you Kid. I have a 2007 Yamaha Tour Deluxe. The same as a venture, except no four ways. So I think this will work then. I may order without the recommended load equalizer. Couldn't really hurt anything could it ?
20. Well I just returned the call to order after I had came up with discount code. The lady says that I should use a load equalizer, one is $15.00 that has some heat issues so mount on frame. Another that will do both rear and front and no heat issues. Also can use a four way flasher with this one. But $59.00. So now back to thinking of what to do. Any help would be appreciated.
21. I just got off the phone with Custom Dynamics. I told them that a lot of us use there lighting set ups. I ask if VentureRider.org has a discount with them and she replied no. I told her that this is where I came up them and that a lot of people here recommended Custom Dynamics. The lady there ( Lora ) said that she would look into that. Maybe a company to get on board here with us. Just saying Freebird. Have a nice day everyone from my iPhone and a Forum Runner App. She told me that there was a discount code out there on line. Which I now have, it is ( rswarrior ) if anyone else is ordering today. 5% discount.
22. Well I finally made up my mind. I ordered the Harley rear lights. http://api.viglink.com/api/click?format=go&key=e24a6de127caafe43f772df085fb6605&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fventurerider.org%2Fforum%2Fnewreply.php%3Fdo%3Dnewreply%26noquote%3D1%26p%3D757649&v=1&libid=1366600270793&out=http%3A%2F%2Frover.ebay.com%2Frover%2F1%2F711-53200-19255-0%2F1%3Fcampid%3D5335830059%26toolid%3D10001%26mpre%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Frover.ebay.com%252Frover%252F1%252F711-53200-19255-0%252F1%253Fcampid%253D5335830059%26toolid%253D10001%26mpre%253Dhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.ebay.com%25252Fitm%25252FChrome-Dresser-Light-Bar-with-4-Lights-for-Harley-Davidson-Oem-Repl-68230-97B-%25252F380622689529%25253Fpt%25253DMotorcycles_Parts_Accessories%26hash%25253Ditem589ee154f9%26vxp%25253Dmtr&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fventurerider.org%2Fforum%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D77524%26page%3D2&title=VentureRider.Org%20-%20Reply%20to%20Topic&txt=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FChrome-Dresser-Light-Bar-with-4-Lights-for-Harley-Davidson-Oem-Repl-68230-97B-%2F380622689529%3Fpt%3DMotorc...&jsonp=vglnk_jsonp_13666005707384 and a set of Custom Dynamics Cluster signal/brake /running lights.
