  1. Bob Seger is one of our favorites by far. He is coming to Cleveland on December 4th. Eileen and I are thinking about going. Anybody seen him in recent years? Still worth going?
  2. Here it is. It was in fantastic condition. Wish I had kept it.
  3. I bought one a few years ago. Found it up in Minnesota and paid $1200.00 for it. Then somebody offered me a decent profit and I sold it. I'll post a picture when I find it. Dumb Dumb Dumb.... I sure would like the have the Ducati or the Triumph though....800 PLUS ccs....
  4. I like it. I've loved the scramblers since I was 15 years old and owned my Honda CL350. Love this one but it would still be hard to choose between it and the Triumph Scrambler. http://www.webbikeworld.com/ducati-motorcycles/ducati-scrambler/ The Ducati is certainly more updated with the more modern suspension and other features but I love the old school style of the Triumph. The good news is that I don't have the money so won't have to make that decision.
  5. uh...beautiful but...no thank you.
  6. You are going to love those Sonic springs. Rick steered me toward them several years ago. I am convinced that they are a better choice than the Progressives for the RSV.
  7. Don't know what the personal problem is and will respect your wish to not talk about it. Remember one thing though, you have friends here and we care.
  8. Not street legal but a street legal version is coming. Wonder what the HP on it will be? Not something that I think I need but I would like to take it for a spin. http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2014/09/30/kawasaki-reveals-most-powerful-motorcycle-ever/?intcmp=features

  10. It's not really very critical. Just turn the screw up a couple of rotations and then put it back about where it was when done.
  11. What is your best friend worth? hmmm...... http://www.bushtec.com/inventory/v1/Current/Bushtec/Tow-Tow/2014-Deluxe--Jacksboro-Tennessee---1594491
  12. Well, maybe Khromewerks no longer makes them. Just checked their website and can't find them now. They were a very nice muffler if you can find any. Samson seems to have discontinued them also. Too bad. Samson's were OK but very loud. Khromewerks weren't quite as loud and could be repacked.
  13. There are a few choices. Khromerwerks and Sampson both make them. Also any that you can find for the touring Harley's can work with a simple bracket fabrication.

Another issue with the large photos is that it takes longer than most people want to wait for them to download when we are trying to view them. Some have very fast Internet connections, some not so great and some members are actually still on dial-up. You get a thread with a 3 meg photo or worse yet, a number of large photos and the pages can take a LONG time to load. Many folks will say to heck with the wait and never see the pictures that you post. Not to mention the strain that it puts on a server when a number of folks are accessing those pictures at the same time. There is much more to this issue than server space.
  15. Here is a picture from the website with them on Alan's 2000 RSV. http://www.diamondraccessories.com/prodimages/newlightbar1.jpg
  16. If you want the chrome, Diamond R Accessories offers it. Very nice product. http://www.diamondraccessories.com/yamaha/yamahaproducts.php
  17. Not cheap but Diamond R Accessories makes some that fit between the saddlebag guard rails. They are a great company and make quality accessories. http://www.diamondraccessories.com/yamaha/proddisplay.php?name=RSV/RSTD%20LED%20Saddlebag%20Light%20Bar

Those have been around for quite a while. They look pretty cool but not my cup of tea. Your pictures look fine. I wish you were right about this site bringing in 150,000.00. If that were the case, I would be quitting my full time job. Registered members is NOT the same as supporting members. It is a small fraction of that. Very small. It would be a complete and total waste of resources to let anybody upload 3.3 meg photos. A computer is not able to display that kind of resolution. If you really feel that you need to upload such huge pictures, there are a lot of places that you can upload them and then link them from here.
  19. Don't want to think about it right now but our cat will probably not be too far down the road. We have had him now for somewhere around 16 years. He was a stray that was found in Duncanville, TX under a lawn mower at a local Walmart. He couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 weeks old and was covered in grease, fleas and ticks. It will be a sad day and certainly not one that I look forward to. At this time, he appears healthy and happy.
  20. Many of my VentureRider friends have met our Annie over the years and know the story of how we came to adopt her. Today is a sad day as we had to take her to the Vet and say our final goodbyes. She had worked her way so deeply into our hearts but I know that the time had come where we had to end her pain and suffering. The Last Battle If it should be that I grow frail and weak, And pain should keep me from my sleep, Then will you do what must be done, For this, the last battle, can't be won. You will be sad I understand, But don't let grief then stay your hand, For on this day, more than the rest, Your love and friendship must stand the test. We have had so many happy years, You wouldn't want me to suffer so. When the time comes, please, let me go. Take me to where to my needs they'll tend, Only, stay with me till the end And hold me firm and speak to me, Until my eyes no longer see. I know in time you will agree, It is a kindness you do to me. Although my tail its last has waved, From pain and suffering I have been saved. Don't grieve that it must be you, Who has to decide this thing to do; We've been so close,we two, these years, Don't let your heart hold any tears. Author Unknown
  21. No I don't. It looks very similar to what they call the Classic. I would contact them and ask. http://www.californiasidecar.com/trailers_classic.html
  22. What do you want to know about it? They are a very nice trailer. High end and expensive new. I think they are now part of the California Sidecar Company. May not have been when that one was made. Either way, they are a nice trailer. You can find the new ones at http://www.californiasidecar.com
  23. That was a fun quiz. I learned that I don't know my old cars as well as I thought I did. Only got 77%.
  24. Road Glides are welcome also. I have a 2013 Road Glide Ultra and there are a couple others here also. Most of the information around here is focused on the Ventures and Royal Stars though.
  25. Love that bike. If I had lots of money, there would be one in the garage.
