  1. I love those old Chevy trucks. I think mine was a '66 if I remember right. It was completely restored also. Wish I had never sold it.
  2. WOW....that would be fantastic Eddie. Heck...I would even buy lunch.
  3. She has been often compared to Joplin. Some think that she is ever better. I have a list on my MP3 that I use when riding...among other it includes Susan Tedeshci, Beth Hart, Bob Seger. Turn it up and hit the twists....life is good.
  4. Did you ever check out Beth Hart. Along with Susan, one of my favorites.
  5. If that is what you want to do, then do it. Sooner better than later. Follow your heart and establish a career that makes you happy. Too many people stay in jobs that offer the no fulfillment.
  6. Many of us are convinced that some of the aftermarket shields are actually superior to the OEM. Several good ones to choose from. F4 is great, refresh the page a few times and you'll see their banner show up. Baggershield is also popular here as it can be adjusted to a high and low position, their banner should also show up.
  7. CRAP...was online doing an advance purchase on the tickets through my CitiCard advance ticket program. December 4th is the date. Just before hitting the submit button, I had a little voice inside telling me to check that date. Sure enough, I will be in Minnesota that entire week for our annual sales meeting. NO WAY to get out of that one. Just looked and they are also going to be in Columbus, OH. That's only a couple hours way. Date to be announced. Hopefully that one will work out.
  8. We don't now but used to have an Umbrella Cockatoo and a Quaker. We were just talking last week about maybe getting another one. Our pets at this time consist of a Sheltie and a 16 year old cat that we've had since he was 5 weeks old. Of course I posted last week about having to put our Annie down. Heartbreaking still.
  9. Another one that I like and I came across about the same time as Susan is Beth Hart. Like her music also. I was given CDs by both of these ladies about 15 or 16 years ago by a friend in Dallas. Been listening to them ever since.
  10. I've been listening to Susan Tedeschi for years. Have at least two or three of her CDs. Really enjoy her music.
  11. I had one of those too. Mine was yellow but I liked the blue better.
  12. Bob Seger is one of our favorites by far. He is coming to Cleveland on December 4th. Eileen and I are thinking about going. Anybody seen him in recent years? Still worth going?
  13. Here it is. It was in fantastic condition. Wish I had kept it.
  14. I bought one a few years ago. Found it up in Minnesota and paid $1200.00 for it. Then somebody offered me a decent profit and I sold it. I'll post a picture when I find it. Dumb Dumb Dumb.... I sure would like the have the Ducati or the Triumph though....800 PLUS ccs....
  15. I like it. I've loved the scramblers since I was 15 years old and owned my Honda CL350. Love this one but it would still be hard to choose between it and the Triumph Scrambler. http://www.webbikeworld.com/ducati-motorcycles/ducati-scrambler/ The Ducati is certainly more updated with the more modern suspension and other features but I love the old school style of the Triumph. The good news is that I don't have the money so won't have to make that decision.
  16. uh...beautiful but...no thank you.
  17. You are going to love those Sonic springs. Rick steered me toward them several years ago. I am convinced that they are a better choice than the Progressives for the RSV.
  18. Don't know what the personal problem is and will respect your wish to not talk about it. Remember one thing though, you have friends here and we care.
  19. Not street legal but a street legal version is coming. Wonder what the HP on it will be? Not something that I think I need but I would like to take it for a spin. http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2014/09/30/kawasaki-reveals-most-powerful-motorcycle-ever/?intcmp=features

  21. It's not really very critical. Just turn the screw up a couple of rotations and then put it back about where it was when done.
  22. What is your best friend worth? hmmm...... http://www.bushtec.com/inventory/v1/Current/Bushtec/Tow-Tow/2014-Deluxe--Jacksboro-Tennessee---1594491
  23. Well, maybe Khromewerks no longer makes them. Just checked their website and can't find them now. They were a very nice muffler if you can find any. Samson seems to have discontinued them also. Too bad. Samson's were OK but very loud. Khromewerks weren't quite as loud and could be repacked.
  24. There are a few choices. Khromerwerks and Sampson both make them. Also any that you can find for the touring Harley's can work with a simple bracket fabrication.

    YAT!

Another issue with the large photos is that it takes longer than most people want to wait for them to download when we are trying to view them. Some have very fast Internet connections, some not so great and some members are actually still on dial-up. You get a thread with a 3 meg photo or worse yet, a number of large photos and the pages can take a LONG time to load. Many folks will say to heck with the wait and never see the pictures that you post. Not to mention the strain that it puts on a server when a number of folks are accessing those pictures at the same time. There is much more to this issue than server space.
