Ok guys and gals...The plans for the 2015 WNY mini rally at Pioneer motorsports are completed.. Check out the itinerary for this event in the regional rally section of the forum.... the WNY group have planned a fun filled event as usual and we are looking forward to seeing some of our International guests such as AUSSIE ANNIE from Australia along with STARFAN and KBEN from Iceland who will be attending. Camping is free ....please go to the calendar and sign up for this event.. It will again be held August 20 (set up day) thru the 23rd... Hope to see everyone there.........

Yep, had the radiator flushed, and an OEM thermostat installed . When my mechanic went to check the connection on the sensor, it snapped off in his hand. He had to drill and tap it to replace it....so far it seems to have taken care of the problem....he changed the oil and found no coolant in the oil ..he also did a compression test to make me feel better that there was no blown head gasket...total cost...$.221.00.. My mechanic only charges me 45.00 an hr. for labor cost... It beats $45,000.00 for a new truck...

I have secured rates at the Microtel in Springville NY . We have a block of 14 rooms reserved .. 7 singles and 7 doubles. please see the post in the regional rally section for details...plans are still in the works for the rally...

I don't know about anyone else , but Don is the only one here that has gotten me out of a hot bath at midnight just to call me an A--HOLE... over a bunch of bananas....I disagree with everyone here.... He is ONE BAD DUDE in my book and my feelings have been hurt ever since this incident.....and he has forced me to eat frog legs on several occasions just like the way my big brother used to make me eat worms...I say tar and feather Don.......

THE ODOMETER cuts on and off, but its been doing that for a couple of years...that's a loose wire. I don't think they are related

I am not loosing any coolant nor is the exhaust foggy, but that's hard to tell because its been really cold out. its not overheating...the gauge goes to cold then back up to normal ??????

Ok I need help from all the motor heads.. I am at my wits end...I have a 2004 f 150 ford heritage , 6 cylinder 4x4 with a 5 speed in it (117,000 MILES ON IT)....my temperature gauge reads normal for a while(20,30 miles) then will go to cold, then back to normal, then will fluctuate back and forth about every 8 miles from normal to cold....I DO NOT lose any heat and the truck seems to run normal...I had a new thermostat installed about 2 weeks ago and all seemed well until today when it started doing it again.... I drive 30 miles to work. It did it once or twice today on the way to work but on the way home it did it about 10 times....I don't know enough about these things and an a little nervous driving it.. is there a sensor I should be looking for?.. Is it safe to drive? will I damage something driving it back and forth to work? Thank you for the help in advance....

OK everyone, I have the dates and itinerary started in the rally section and the sign up page on the calendar.... the dates are August 20th thru 23rd....I will be filling in our rides and events as they are confirmed...We have a live band again and will be having a 50's costume and stroll dance contest on Friday night along with our catered BBQ by chandersons.....I have a whole bunch of neat ideas that are in the works but must get some commitments first from some wny members...put these days aside and join us for a grand old time.....WNY MEMBERS PLEASE CONTACT ME with ride suggestions and availability for ride captains......picnic games, scavenger hunt and any other ideas ???????looking for new ideas

I am currently working on the itinerary, motel and dinner prices for this rally... Some time today I will post dates, times and pertinent information in the rally section of this forum... IF you plan on booking a room for the rally do it early as many of the motels and hotels book out with seasonal workers for the well industry....We have a fun time in the works as usual... check us out and join us for this fun filled event. Give me a few hours to get this thread started....and again camping is free at the rally site...See you there

Ok guys and gals...I need some input from those who attend the rally each year...we are kicking around a 50's theme with a stroll dance contest and best 50's costumed couple on Friday night ? what do you think...sound like fun ?????? SATURDAY NIGHT BAND WILL PLAY 50'S , 60'S AND 70'S music....????????? catered bbq before the band ???? another scavenger hunt ???? Spragues ride again????? more picnic games???? more or less rides???? If you attend this rally ,I would like your input.....

I do have the dates for the rally, but I am waiting on Pioneer to confirm them.....I will give you a hint though...ON Friday night, we will be having a 50's theme night with a prize for the best costumed couple....so dig out your best poodle skirt out of the closet and have Ellen working on that ducksass haircut and practice up on the "stroll" for the dance contest.....ps..and a 70's band on Saturday...
