O yeah this has nothing to do with the motor, we all thought our Venture brakes are scary. Well this coaster brake for a lack of a better word, they suck..... gonna have to figure something out there. May have to go to bike shop and see if they have some rims with coaster brakes...

It does ok for now, got to let it be broke in for 500km or in other words baby it for 300 miles that might take a while. Nope don't even need a drivers license. I tell you tho so far this year I have rode a Rebel, 81 cb650, and now this, tinker has spoiled me because I forgot how much vibes you can get from a bike, the 650 wasn't as bad but you could feel it in the handle bars...

Me too... I really enjoyed riding bikes with my youngest.. Something I missed out on with my oldest and second oldest. I wouldn't been able to if I hadn't quit... I actually out did him... I am going on 3 months no smoking. I still crave a little bit but I feel a little younger. I started smoking when I was 15, 24 yrs of smoking probably has taken its toll. But better off to quit now while in still breathing other then quit when I'm not. My mom quit early this year too, crazy thing tho all other problems are coming up... I second the video, I got both the engine and carburetor video for 20. I also have the Morgan carbtune. I didn't have my sync to far out but when I got it dialed in with the carbtune made a world of difference. And Bob I never did think of an earplug.. Hey while you gloat in all your hyper drive I just got back from Riding bikes with my son, while you was buying super bikes I was buying a cruiser. It will have motor buy the end of this week but.... only to get me up the mountain when I am done riding it.

I am almost willing to bet the float was stuck, and in the grand scheme of things getting it to your house all that shake rattling and rolling knocked it loose, mine when it gets warm idles confortably around 1150+/- rpm when I first start mine it idles right around 800+/- rpm. We used to have same problem with vents in an old 68 Dodge 1 ton. We used clothespins to hold the vents open. Mine does the same thing, I actually have my leggings removed. I like the look plus they need repaired and haven't got to it yet. I have a mechanical cruise as long as I am on level I just set it and forget it. Only use it to give my hand a rest. Not sure what to do about the mirror, if its a worn pivot then pull it off and see if there is a screw there. If not Ebay has some for fairly cheap.

Wow I have been brain dead the last few days.... Great adventure the me too was the map of the route. It looks like an item for my bucket list.

Depending on year but You could get 2 ventures for that price and an S-10 rear end and make a venture trike... I am not fully sure how that was done but there used to be one on craiglist that used to run around Springfield

I am blind too myself, I use the whats new tab all the time... I have wondered where this stuff was and just found it because I was looking for it. I knew about some meet and eat, cause it was in the whats new tab.... maybe one above the tech library. I can see how people would miss it tho it is like way way down the list in forum..
