  1. Angel: God Bless you guys.. Sent what I could and hope it helps..
  2. As far as I know they ALL had air shocks. The only difference being the Standard had to be aired up manually and the Royale had CLASS (on board compressor). There is a spring as well on all of them. The air is to assist the spring. Maybe someone will correct me if I'm wrong..
  3. I'm thinking there is a serial number that you can take to a dealer and have a new key made. failing that if you get a blank from the dealer a good locksmith can make you a new one on site
  4. Bob: If you decrease the rpm on the hwy will it not also decrease the available torque? Looking forward to a report on this when you get her done..
  5. Good luck... Like you said I hope they fit and if they do sounds like they will look AWESOME!!
  6. Wow!!! Like an early Christmas Present.. Looks GREAT!! Hope we get to ride soon..

  8. so you found the trigger BUT did you PULL IT???
  9. Best speakers I know of that will fit are the Polk Audio DB401s [ame=http://www.amazon.ca/Polk-Audio-4-Inch-Coaxial-Speakers/dp/B000P0R6GQ]Polk Audio DB401 4-Inch Coaxial Speakers (Pair, Silver): Amazon.ca: Electronics@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41Cgy6jdaAL.@@AMEPARAM@@41Cgy6jdaAL[/ame] Hopefully someone will come up with an AMP that is small and powerful and will hide somewhere on the bike without sacrificing useful storage space. The speakers are designed for marine use and as such they are weather resistant AND for a 4" speaker they sound pretty good. With an amp the actually sound VERY good
  10. Happy Birthday DON!!! Hope it's and AWESOME ONE!!
  11. I did mine a couple of years ago with the help of MarCarl.. The most difficult part was getting the motor in and out.. You also need access to a press to get the split washer out of the shaft. Washer that needs to be replaced is cheap but you will need a gasket set to put her all together again.. while in there you will also want to check your valve clearances. So much easier to do on the bench. Not a difficult job but time consuming. In my opinion very worth doing though.
  12. I'd like a set in clear as well if that is possible otherwise it would be smoke..
  13. Happy Birthday Puc.. Hope it is an AMAZING day!!!
  14. and all that just happened over a long time... hmmmmmm
  15. Hope and pray that all goes well.. IT's tough when you are getting older to bounce back from these things..
  16. Congrats!!!! Larry and Joyce.. Hope you have an AMAZING day celebrating this milestone
  17. :cool10:Hey Bob: I think you need glasses.. The Venture INN is on the 24th.. been there for awhile now..
  18. Thanks Abdul.. I'll most likely take you up on that
  19. Hey guys : thanks for the help.. the plug is more or less under the seat and I have to dismantle some stuff to get to it and the regulator is front right lower fairing.. Gonna be having a look see as soon as I get a little time. I'm in I.T. and with XP support being axed I'm extremely busy right now..
  20. Ok need some help here.. My new to me MM is not charging. When I put test leads across the battery it reads 12.5 at any rpm. My guess is it just reading what is in the battery. If this was a 1st Gen I would know where to look. On this one I don't even know where the 3 wire plug is or where the regulator is.. Where do I start? Is the stator the same as a 1st Gen MkII? I have a new one of those sitting here. Will the shendin regulator for a 1st gen work.? I also have a new one of those.. That is if I need any of them.. maybe (I hope) the plug is no good.. easy fix just don't know where it is.. Help Please
  21. Useless? Maybe but Fascinating YES!! Wow never thought of that
  22. I'm guessing THAT would take some PRACTICE! Wow
  23. They have them here at that price
  24. Yeah THAT.. I have a Garmin Zumo 660 as well and really like it.. If you want XM radio as well then the 665 will do the trick. These are designed specifically for Motorcycles. They are bright enough to read in direct sunlight as well as vibration resistant and waterproof. Mine came with both a motorcycle cradle and a car cradle. It is smart enough to know which cradle it is in so it's like having two units. I can set up and personalize it for each place.
