  1. Broken link Here's what opened for me http://www.motherroadrally.com/ Was on parts of it over the years but never the whole way to California. Larry
  2. I've been eyeing this version of lift - http://www.harborfreight.com/6000-lb-capacity-scissor-lift-91315.html. Considering the costs of a quality lift table for my trike this is appealing as it's in the same price rang. Plus it can be used on my car and truck. Of course I'll have to make up some sort of adapter for the trike maybe. If my garage had a higher ceiling I'd even consider a 2 post lift. As it is I'll have to move this outside if raising a vehicle very much. Lots of choices when going this route from numerous companies. Larry A couple other examples -- http://www.bestbuyautoequipment.com/Auto-Lift-MR6K-48-p/al-mr6k-48.htm , http://www.bestbuyautoequipment.com/specialty-car-lift-md-6xp-mid-rise-portable-6k-lb-p/bendpakmd-6xp.htm , http://www.eagleequip.com/product/PMR-6000-48.html I'll probably order one of these after the 1st of the month
  3. Always liked that gun myself. Enjoy it. Larry
  4. I'm with Jeff. 2 days alone or 3 with the Mrs. aboard. Also depending on our route taken. 875 with a detour to visit friends or 725 with the shortest shot from home, leaving 250 miles for the last days ride. I voted for 3 days as that's most likely what I'll do getting there. Larry
  5. Sorry to hear of your fathers passing Wayne. Even when expected it's still a sad time for family and friends even knowing he's in good hands with the Lord. Looks like a very good trip you had as well. Larry
  6. All good info so far but literally "pounding" in the seal sure isn't conductive to a proper install. You either tear the seal by perhaps a unseen nick or rough spot or you've warped it while driving it in. Neither is conductive to getting it done right, thus the results of a badly leaking seal. Larry
  7. Hated to hear of your accident but like others glad it wasn't worse for you & Deb. Bikes can be either fixed or replaced. Heal quickly as possible. Larry
  8. Here's a link to Hannigan's website- http://www.hannigantrikes.com/ & the page for the Ventures/RSTD's. http://www.hannigantrikes.com/products/yamaha-royal-star-venture-tour-deluxe-conversion/ Scroll down the page for pricing. Larry
  9. Wise choice John. Looking forward to seeing the finished product. Any questions about the conversion just ask and you'll get a whole bunch of replies from us other trikers.
  10. Are you kidding? She'd be leading the pack if they'd get out of the way. That gall can hold her own anyday. Larry

  19. I think Chuck is right on the Road Star lights. If I recall that's what I used on the 05 RSV. Larry
  20. Yep we hit the road today about noon today and am now holed up for the night at the Drury hotel just north of Cincinnati, Oh. Working our way down to Vogel at a leisurely pace. See you all in a couple 3 days. Larry

  22. BUSTED :rotf: Larry
  23. Try using an "O" ring of the approximate size on each end. That's what I used on the 05 and it worked pretty good keeping it sealed. I also used a thin piece of sheet metal strip on the top of the two air boxes to keep them together tight. Used the existing cover screws . Larry
  24. The next thing to do then would be sure there's no liens on it. Of if there is he gets it cleared. Larry
