West bound I-80 this morning near Kingvale and Soda Springs 10 miles west of Truckee/Donner. NICE!!!
-
Lots of wind along with the rain and cannot get much done so guess I'll do some more work on the 83. No complaining as we really need all the rain and snow we can get.

How do you 2nd Gen riders swap out rear tires on the road?
Zzyzx replied to cowpuc's topic in Watering Hole
I would call AAA and have them take it to the nearest dealer. If you have their premium plan they will take a bike up to 200 miles for free. Beats having to roll the wheel both ways I also use ride-on to seal small punctures and hope I just don't get a blowout. -
Maybe we can do this when we do the voyager wiring.

Well I had to pull over until you could catch up. Had a little time on my hands so we took a picture... I also have a 1st Gen

Not Yet...The HD lights are still standard 1157's but have the LED inserts on order. Will shoot another picture once these are changed out.

Just completed the install of a Harley Road King (PN: 68230-97B) taillight to the 1999 RSV. Can never have enough rear lighting.

Have not been to Cooks Corner for more than 25 years but bet it hasn't changed much over the years. Used to go by there on the way to O'neill park and Trabuco Canyon. Will make sure to get in touch with you Bob next trip down on the bike or in a cage.

I'll smoke a couple of pork butts for some pulled pork sandwiches and make some of my BB-Q beans to go along with the dawgs and such. Dang, I'm getting hungry.

What a difference a day makes Jack.

Okay, I'm in. Lets get a left coast "Cowpuc Hotdawg" style gathering going. We can make it a meet and "Feast" gathering and maybe even some sort of maintenance event.

New Tire - $180.00 Labor to mount - $50.00 SilvrT ready to ride as soon a snow melts - Priceless. Great deal on the tire!

You are doing quite good for only being able to type with one finger Puc!.
-
I think Eck is correct that the "MP" means Multi-Pack thus the lower price.
-
Here is the link to Wix web site that lists all of the 51522 filters they have including the MP and XP Not sure how much information you can glean but hope it helps. http://www.wixfilters.com/Lookup/InterchangeMultiSearch.aspx?q=51522|51522mp|51522xp&o=me

That looks like an Elio and the one Rick pictured could be one of the prototype/customer test vehicles. These go into production in a few months and the first of the preorders will be delivered later this year. These are being manufactured at the old Oldsmobile plant in Louisiana. There are over 50K preorders already in the mix. Yes, we preordered one for the wife since she cannot take direct sun for very long thus one of many the reasons she doesn't ride. These are powered by a 3-cyl engine that will be made in the U.S. along with 80% of the overall components, and expected to get around 80mpg. http://www.eliomotors.com/

Glad to hear Puc is doing good. Hang in there and listen to the doctors and Tippy, especially Tippy, doctors don't cook. Thoughts and Prayers up and out for a speedy recovery Scott.

My pipe change from 3 years ago This old man likes his loud pipes, sometimes...WHAT?, you say something?

Cowpuc could also take this on his way to Sturgis, make friends and money along the way...

Since the factory replacement was $27.00 and would take more than a week to get I had little option so I used the brake hose I got from the local truck repair place. The factory bend is so slight it hasn't caused any issues yet but time will tell.
