My wife is looking at a 95 Goldwing trike and trailer . What do I need to look for when assessing this unit not up on gold wings. It belonged to her husband who passed away so I don't know what she knows as far as maintenance records but will ask. What are the pitfalls that this bike has all bikes have known problems please any advice would be helpful. Thank you in advance.

+Sorry to here of your loss glad you and family are ok. It will be a long recovery but with help from friends and the guy upstairs you can make it through. It saddens me to see your bikes in that shape but better them tan you . I have paint codes for the 99 when if you need them hang in there.

beautiful looking bike but tough to ever move because it is a small market area for that style . I can appreciate it but would pay $2000. 00 below market because not my style. I am personally going to repaint mine but know if I go custom looking it will be my choice and I will be stuck with it for ever. But I am fine with that I love my scoot and I like being able to pick my bike out and have people recognize it when they see it weather they love it or hate it. I guess since I know it will be mine for along time and I have some skills in that area might as well make it mine. As a friend says proudly right or wrong built not bought . INMHO:2cents:

My question is why is everyone looking at a new bike from Yamaha do yours have 200,000 miles on them or just want a new bike? I have only had my 99 for 1 year but I can't imagine getting a new one till it is totally wore out. It rides nice easy to work on and enough stuff to make it my own. What am I missing or do the rest of you have a ton of miles on yours?

The wife and I are taking a vacation to Pigeon Forge TN. we will be leaving Iowa City IA area on Saturday am . We will be driving down thought of taking the bike on trailer but due to health problems at this time not an option. Not familiar with the area was looking for suggestions on sites to see. Not interested in tourist trap things maybe a nice road to drive for future rides . We will be staying at a house with family but could meet with someone for lunch one day to expand the great group of friends since joining the site.

Mike does excellent work these diamond cut fins draw tons of attention plus he also has many add on pieces that can make your bike stand out. I would suggest if you get them be prepared to get noticed first thing people notice and Mike is great guy to work with. has a great system to ship them so them get to you undamaged.

I have though about get some stainless that they put on the bottom of pickup trucks and cut to fit the flat ones might be worth a try.

I installed a air horn Wolo Sreaming Banshee went for a ride with RBIG1 tried the cb for first time i could here him but when i keyed mine nothing. So when stopped for dinner last night tried rear switch and the horn beeped but nothing on the cb. I am thinking some how got ground wire switched somewhere ? Ant guidance would be appreciated thank you in advance.
