VR TO FJR1300 FINAL DRIVE SWAP!
THESE PICS SHOW HOW I MODIFIED AND INSTALLED A 2003 FJR1300 FINAL DRIVE ON TO MY 1987 VENTURE ROYALE. AFTER PUTTING ALMOST 10,000 MILES ON MY 87'VR I DESIDED THAT THIS BIKE HAD WAY TO MUCH "TOP END" I WANTED IT TO PULL BETTER THRU SPEEDS UP TO 80 MPH. WELL, LET ME TELL YOU AFTER THIS SWAP, SHE PULLS BETTER NOW! THE RED ARROW SHOWS WHERE I HAD TO ADD A .054" SHIM SO THE FJR1300 FINAL DRIVE WOULD BE PERPINDICULAR TO THE DRIVE SHAFT.- Album created by skydoc_17

Ecks 1973 AURANTHETIC CHARGER
Auranthetic Chargers were based on a bike used by Gemini which was built in Taiwan. What I have read is Auranthetic, a California based company, ordered the mini bikes without engines and modified them to their specs to be 100% electric mini bikes. Production only lasted short of 2 years and only a few thousand were produced. The conversion from the gas motor to the electric motor included 1hp series wound industrial motors and (2) 12V deep cycle batteries which gave them around 30MPH for about 50 miles. Auranthetic Corp used turn signals manufactured in Japan by Stanely. These were also used on various Honda CB motorbikes in the 70's. Aurnathetics came with amber lenses front and back (no red lenses). The early (1973) Auranthetics had a seamed tank and the later ones (1974)used a Bosch motor and a few other things were different.- Album created by Eck

It's Great time if you Ride a lot are "show" but I go more for the "if you build it ( and it runs) bring it" I can't post a lot of the pics from the parties later. It's something you have to experience, a mini Daytona. No Fri13th in 09 but I hear from some guys on the planning commity that they are picking another day for it :)- Album created by Knees In The Breeze
